Not great, be warned! I stayed in the small room but I still thought it was going to be a normal bed. It was a short, small camper bed with a 2-3 inch mattress. I couldn't get any sleep. I had to find somewhere else and they still made me pay. They were very persistent (with a smile) : me... More

Dear Dane, thank you for taking time to share your opinion on our house. We are sorry that your stay in our house failed to fulfill your expectations. As evidenced by the other reviews and the description on our website, the single room is very small and certainly not recommended for stays longer than three days. However, we must point... More

Domus Valeria was a fabulous base for our sightseeing stay in Rome. Centrally located for all the sights, and surprisingly peaceful considering all the nearby hustle and bustle. Our double room was comfy and stylish - a refreshing change from typically sterile B&B accommodation. But the real star of the show was Erick, who was a top host. He really... More

Domus Valeria met us with open arms. Erick was a charming, accommodating host with a ready smile and eagerness to please. We were invited to feel at home and we did! Breakfast on the terrace; quiet rooms; squeaky clean B&B; and a perfect location near the Spanish Steps. No living room in the common area, but the red and gold... More

Thank you to Marco, Erick and Manuela for making us feel welcome. Small. Friendly. Comfortable. About 200 meters from the Spanish steps (and the metro station). I drank a lot of beer on the roof just staring off at the city. I als drank a lot of breakfast coffee sitting on the roof and staring at the city. Good value for where you are and what you get.

Just spent a week staying here. Excellent position, the best. The hosts were the best. Nothing was too much and Guilio went out of his way to assist. Rooms very quiet and the breakfasts were spectacular. Served on the roof top with great views of the Spanish Steps. All in all definitely worth a stay when in Rome. Thanks guys.
