What a wonderful, modern, clean and stylish hotel! Located just a 5min walk from the central Termini station with direct links to the Fiumicino airport and a 15min walk from key Rome sites such as the Colosseum and Trevi fountain it was perfectly placed for our short break. The hotel itself offers spacious, comfortable and well-designed rooms (inc. large wardrobe/storage... More

Modern urban design. Rooms are a bit on the petite side, but the furnishings were comfortable and of minimalist design. If you are looking for more space for storing floor-space-eating luggage, be sure to check under the bed (kind of like a cruise ship in that regard). Bathroom was spacious though and even had both bath and shower as well... More

Stayed for 2 nights in may 2012 & recommended to our parents for their following stay. The hotel is in a good location, as long as youre willing to don your walking shoes. The room was clean & comfy, modern furnishings. Only complaint was that there was no English tv channels to have the news or something else on in... More

Spent 3 nights at the iQ Roma in early March. The hotel is in a great location - just a short walk from Termini and very central for many of Rome's attractions (and close to the Metro station at Repubblica). Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable. There are vending machines around the hotel selling everything from toothbrushes to bottles... More

When my partner and I discovered that our double room did not have a bath, we were a little disappointed, so I enquired at the reception if there was a room with a bath available. They were very helpful and accommodating in relocating us to what turned out to be a much larger, double room on the fourth floor, which... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel from the 10th for 5 nights and we couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived at the hotel rather late and we were in a rush to get back out for dinner. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a useful map. The room was exactly as described on most of... More

Just returned from a fantastic stay in Rome, made even better by staying at the iQ Roma. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, we stayed in a small double, but it had a lovely balcony and everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and everything was spotless. The location of the hotel really is within walking distance of some of... More

This hotel is with in walking distance of Termini Station. This was the second time i have come back to this hotel. They have free WIFI, customer service is exceptional. The room are surprisingly large for european style. The Coloseum is a small walk, I had no problem, but it is probably a little over a half mile. I also... More

The hotel has a friendly staff, very clean, and the rooms are modern and fairly sized. The hotel has a nice terrace on the top you can enjoy after a long day of walking. Very close to Termini Station, and to main streets where you can walk, take public transportation or cabs. My stay was business mixed with a little... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

IQ is a 4-star hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna.
