We've stayed at IQ Hotel Roma twice and love it. We had a triple room which included a twin bed for our daughter and it was a real bed, comfortable and not a pull out cot. The bathroom was large and modern, and the AC was welcome as Rome was hot this August. We had a room overlooking the Teatro D'Opera and it was quiet. Breakfast is worth paying for, the buffet was delicious with a large variety. We arrived early, and they stored our luggage before check in, and had a clean bathroom to freshen up. They even have a shower if you need one for a late or early arrival. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Termini, and the orange and blue metro lines.
Our choice to stay at IQRoma during the hot summer month of August could not have been better! After our booking, we made a few enquiries over email, all which were promptly responded with sufficient information on airport transfers arranged by the hotel (~60 euros) and luggage forwarding (we had 3 huge bags!) great start already! Located just 3 mins from bus stops, 5-8mins from 2 metro stations, it gave us plenty of options to getting around to all the main sites in Rome. Rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. Self service laundry a huge plus! Breakfast had a good selection for 10 euros/person. And the reception provided free bottles of ice cold water all day, much needed in the sweltering August heat. Special mention to Giuseppe who was at the reception when we arrived at the hotel, taking time to ensure we had all the information to get around Rome and the Vatican City. In the first hour, he already went the extra mile to fax a request for a general audience with the Pope, securing us a seat and advising us on how to make it there in good time. He also gave us clear directions to various attractions and suggested that we attend the 12pm Sunday Angelus that same day. As we were planning to forward our luggage to our next stop Florence, we sought Giuseppe’s help in contacting our next hotel and ensuring they were prepared to receive our bags. He was very attentive, going through the websites ( in Italian) and advising us just how to go about it. With his help, we managed to send 2 huge luggage ahead of us and allowing us a more relaxed and comfortable ride to Florence. Giuseppe’s impeccable service made our visit to Rome a truly lovely one. Thank you Giuseppe for your hospitality!…
This hotel is in a great location- walking distance to a lot of places in Rome! The air conditioning worked really well and the rooms were cleaned. I loved how they provided free water bottles throughout our stay!
Hotel was clean and comfortable. No outside noise where we were located. Room was everything a traveller would want. Fairly centrally located to tourist spots like Trevi Fountain and the Colisseum. Staff was outstanding - unfailingly friendly and helpful!
Amazing, and exceeded my expectations. Clean and spacious rooms, Friendly staff eager to help, both at the reception and the people at the floor rooms. Your idea of providing bottled water as well as snacks for free at the room, as well as the self laundry was innovative and added to the overall good impression.
Modern hotel with great amenities. Breakfast not included but extremely reasonable for $10 per person. Great breakfast spread! Super staff. Doreen at the front desk very knowledgeable and helpful. Daily water bottles given free of charge. Extra plus, laundry machines in the hotel for self service for a nominal fee. Thanks for a great stay!
Hotel is very clean, rooms are well fitted , staff is amazing , breakfast is excellent ! Hotel offered us a great care . One of the best thing happened to us in Rome. I will for sure stay at IQ next time I visit Rome .
We enjoyed very much our stay in IQ hotel Rome - great service, very helpful personnel, clean room, nice view and great food in Fata Ignorante restaurant on the roof. Great selection for breakfast. Close walking distance to very many attractions in Rome. Reasonably priced.
We stayed here for four nights, excellent hotel! On arrival, we had a warm welcome from the front desk staff. However, we were unaware that our passport must be scanned by hotel staff prior to check in following government regulations as explained by the staff. Rooms were clean and stocked. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereals, meats, dairy, fruits, veggies and breads, along with nice deserts. Being central, there are easy strolls to many attractions and restaurants. Emilio, along with other staff were always offering help. Thank you! We will definitely stay here in future.
Excellent hotel for all travellers!!! Rooms are small but provide you with everything you need including Free bottles of water!!! Staff is great and theirs is laundry facility available and 5Es a load!! Well worth it! Breakfast was also incredibly filling! Didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Wish I was in this hotel for my entire stay in Rome! Staying in another 4 star hotel that pales in comparison to the IQ!! Highly recommend!!!!
