Right in the middle of the centre of Rome is the Hotel Piazza Venezia, 10 minute walk from the colosseum and the Trevi fountain, 15 mins to the Spanish Steps and less than 30 mins walk to the Vatican City. Amazing boutique hotel, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Incredible breakfast buffet and really helpful reception staff. This hotel is...

I stayed at Hotel Piazza Venezia for about a week. I talk about the good points first: 1) Good location, few minutes walk to most nice historic places such as Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Cesar et al forums, piazza Venezia and etc 2) clean rooms, sounds like newly renovated, comfortable beds 3) the staff are friendly and attentive However, I...

My husband and I had booked several nights at the Hotel Piazza Venezia on Hotel Tonight. We arrived in Rome from the island of Elba at four o'clock in the afternoon, on a Thursday, to find out that the hotel did not have an available room, which they had communicated to Hotel Tonight. Despite Piazza Venezia's concern that were notified,...

This hotel exceeded all our expectations! The location is perfect, whilst there we walked to plenty of tourist spots, trevi fountain, pantheon, colosseum, St Peters basilica, Vatican & Sistine chapel etc. All within walking distance (dependant on your ability) Although we did not spend alot of time in the hotel as we were busy filling up our 4 days sightseeing,...

Hotel was excellent, staff was on hand for our late arrival and couldn't do more to settle us in. Hotel was modern although small it still felt it met all our needs. Breakfast was good with a large variety of choices and the Jacuzzi area was relaxing and nice to take 5 from the hustle and bustle of the city...

The hotel Piazza Venezia is situated just where it's name states in Piazza Venezia which is a great location to explore Rome. Public transport is readily available not far from the front door to open up the sights that are not reachable by walking (The Trevi Fountain is about a 10 min walk). Rooms are clean and comfortable and the...

This is a small well located hotel facing the Piazza Venezia. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff welcoming and friendly. Particularly nice was the night manager's explanation, upon arrival, of how the major sites were within walking distance. One thing to be aware of; some of the safes do not work, so check that they open as...

This is a nice boutique hotel that's within walking distance to most sites. My only issues were the spoty wifi (room 403), no window to look out (there was one on the ceiling) and no chest in the room to put your clothes in. However, the staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions no matter how menial...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
