We stayed 3 nights in this hotel in October 2016 and found it to be just what we needed. We chose this hotel because of the price compared to others in Rome, and the location is good - next to the main Train station. We arrived 2 hours before our check in and our room was ready for us straight... More

I stayed in this hotel, because I needed to be near train station. it is easily located, good bathroom and good bed. it is the ground floor of ordinary apartment house. It is really easy to access subway and to travel by foot to the city center. Though Internet was working only in the lobby. There was no WiFi Internet... More

A great little hotel. A bit tricky to locate as it's inside a building with 2 or 3 other hotels bur great value for money and the owner was a really nice guy. Breakfast was sufficient, some food as and restaurants in walking distance and more importantly on 5 mins walk from the main Rome station.

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel, in april 2016. Comparing to a similar hotel in Paris, we had here better conditions: air conditioning, a safe case, a mini bar fridge, a big room. The location is perfect, 10 minutes walk to Termini Station. Even though the hotel is situated in an intersection, it is quiet enough to sleep... More

Located very close to the main Termini station and Metro so handy for getting places! You can walk to the tourist spots which is a really good way to see the city and it probably takes about 45 minutes at a gentle stroll to reach the Colosseum etc. The room itself was quite basic, but clean sheets and towels which... The room was nice, got a bit cold at night though (in March). Nothing else negative to say really except they didn't supply any cups/glasses which was a bit inconvenient. Pretty basic but overall did what it did well. The free breakfast was great. One thing that REALLY annoyed me though was that there was nowhere good to store our... More

There are a lot African nd Asians traders of everything in the neibourghood, but safety is absolute. Cleanning of rooms and bathrooms is at a highest possible level, it was very comfortable 3 beds room and staff was... More

We were in Rome for a day and needed a central hotel, next to the train station cause we had to catch a train the day after. This hotel is refurbished and have all the amenities. It is very clean and tidy and the breakfast (croissant and tea/coffee) was good.

Nice cozy place. Stayed here with a friend for two nights. Location is good, a supermarket is close by. The hotel has a beautiful garden inside. The room was clean and cozy with a nice view. They cleaned room every day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, but not enough (coffe and juice and one croissant). Sure you... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
