We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodations in Rome. The suite was well appointed with lots of room, storage space, air conditioning, comfy beds, and a nice, clean bathroom (shower only). The desk staff are kind and helpful, they helped us arrange an airport taxi, and were there when needed. Our room overlooked the...

First of all, it is a B&B and not an hotel as classified on the travel websites. The worst part was the bathroom because there is no shower just a tub! And a really old tub where you can not have a decente cleaning. The water pressure was unstable, so suddenly become really cold or really hot. It was terrible....

Two adults, two children stayed overnight. Their staff was very helpful with everything and worked proactively, our rooms were of course rather small but nice in other ways and surroundings served us well.

We stayed here for 4 nights in total in June 2015. The apartments are right in the centre of Rome, just a 5 minute walk from the Trevi fountain, with the underground over the road and the train station about 1 mile away. The room quality is excellent with a powerful shower, free WiFi, A/C, safe deposit box, TV and...

And more, although the traffic, but there are glazed windows , a beautiful view on Barberini Square with its fountain ! About the lift : there is!! It's small but there is !!...

My fiancé and I planned a flying visit to Rome for one night on a detour on our way to Spain at the end of May. Admittedly, we originally booked to stay in another hotel but the day before we flew I had a call from them to say they had overbooked and have found us another hotel close by....

Great location, friendly staff. It's within walking distance to the Spanish steps, trevi fountain and the pantheon. One block from bus stops for the hop on hop off bus. Breakfast is basic and is delivered to your room at the time you chose. Wifi not the best reception. No shower, only bathtub. Ac did not work well.

The guest house hotal is ideally located and the staff is friendly. But the furniure and the bathroom should really be updated. It is accceptable, but not more, and the price is very high. Location is good with proximity to a subway station Barberini.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
