i have stayed in business from 19-23 Nov2012, this hotel is great and it ranks high 4+ in my opinion, even better than most of 5 starts hotel i been two. The room is made of high quality its bed reminds me with the Claridges Hotel in Mayfayer London. The staff were very good and very cooperative. The only two...

We decided on this hotel because of its proximity to the termini. As our stay was short and we were catching trains in and out of Rome, this was perfect. It was also central to most attractions and close to the metro for our trip to Vatican city etc. We had contacted the hotel prior to our stay as we...

Stayed here for three night with the family on a city break. The room, the breakfast and location was superb. The area around the train station Termini might not be the nicest at might, it's very easy to travel to and a great location for exploring Rome. Try to get room 612 since it's considerable larger than other rooms.

The Una Hotel Roma is one block from the Termini Station and the local train and buses, as well as the hop on and hop off buses. It is your typical big city hotel. The staff is helpful, but not overly friendly. The rooms are small but tidy. You can request a bigger room for an additional cost if that...

I had asked my travel agent to find a hotel close to the Termini Rail Station, as I was traveling to Rome by train. Indeed, the hotel was a mere two block walk (hauling 2 suitcases was a cinch). The neighborhood around the train station is a little bleak, what you would expect in any city. The UNA's rooms are...

"UNA hotel" has an excellent location, just next to Termini station; the building is warm and contemporary both outside and inside. Rooms and furniture are accurate, clean and nice and very new. Beds are confortable and there is a wide choice of different pillows that makes you feel at home. In addition the staff is extremely helpfull and kind, and...

We loved our room here - a quiet oasis right smack in the middle of a very hectic part of Rome Beautiful, minimalist style room-perfect-very calming with great beds and pillows, a big bathroom, light and bright. You can walk from the train station dragging your bag, it's about two blocks. Excellent breakfast buffet service and beautiful lobby. Highly recommend.

Easy to find hotel from Termini station.Excellent rooms and facilities.Downside was very difficult to get out of deep bath from shower ---no handrail so if you are above a certain age could be rather dangerous (surprised hotel have not addressed this problem when other guests have noted this too ).Also our room on first floor was noisy due to trams...

This was a very good value for the Termini area. A quality hotel, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were lovely, tho I do agree getting into the shower/tub is quite an event. It is not for the elderly or the physically challenged. Breakfast was nice, the bar was lively but intimate, and in nicer weather I'm sure...

Booked this hotel for a weekend break in Rome with a friend. Great location right by the central train station and in walking distance of a lot of the big Piazza's and Basilica's. Plus many of the tour buses stop close by. Also many great places to eat all around the area. The hotel is immaculately clean and in good...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
