At first we had a little trouble finding the place because there are no directions online and Google gave a wrong address, but once we found it we were immensely pleased. It's very near to the train station- a 10 minute walk- and situated very conveniently for food, drinks, and transportation. Breakfast of croissants and juice included every day and...

Overall we had a very nice stay. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The couple that manages it was quite nice and gave us a map of Rome with their advice on what to visit and do. The location is ok- not much right around the hotel but the metro/train station is just a 10 minute walk. Would definitely...

In bathroom is bath, hair dryer, mirror, toilet, bidet. It was quite murkily because right now there are renovating facade of the building and there are scaffoldings...

Very nice and quiet place near Termini station. Circa about 5 minutes walk to the subway. Owners are helpful and very friendly. Rooms are big, toilets clean, wifi very good. I reccomend Cristinas Residence.

It was basic. I stayed in a 3 bed room with private bathroom. The staff were very helpful in giving basic information. The cleanliness was okish and liveable; the carpets, sheets and blankets could have been cleaner though. The accommodation is 5-10 mins walk from Rome termini station, towards the north west. I traveled during August, so there were hardly...

We stayed in this place in Rome. It's not a hotel and the location is not in the main road. However, the AC was switched off in the night and it was very hot. It was done deliberately. There was no receptionist. I could see him only twice and he lied to me that he will stay there for 24...

Shabby looking rooms, seemed like nobody cared what it looked like. Breakfast consisted of instant coffee, package of juice and a croissant in plastic wrap. Rooms where not very clean and where not cleaned every day. The staff was friendly and location was good, but overall the experience was a bit depressing.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms were clean and quite, not too far from the center. We even walked from the hotel to the city center. We were 4 friends in a room and definitely recommend this place.

Stayed there for 4 nights. Big, quite, clean room (shower would required more cleaning). Coffee, croissant and small juice every day on the table in the room. Good location, 10 minutes walking to Termini station where you can easy get pretty much everywhere by train, metro or bus. Nice and helpful stuff. Good value for money.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
