Jewel went above and beyond to ensure that things went smoothly for me during my stay. He was personable and very professional. I had a problem with my bill after check out but he personally attended to the matter and took care of it promptly.

We booked a ‘Deluxe’ room at the hotel as displayed on the website. On arrival, we were told that there was a problem with the room (they had overbooked) and we would be moved to another room at a hotel around the corner. We were then told we could move into the room we had originally booked in the morning....

We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights. There were nine of us. It was our first trip to Rome ever. We booked this place based on the reviews only, so it was quite a gamble. The location is excellent. Roma Termini is just a few minutes away. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood....

I went at this b&b on august 2012, it is okey, don't expect too much of that place. For a short stay, it is a good place next to everything. Good location, dont underestimate little restaurants around, they are incredible good =) The termini is a few walk of there, perfect for young travellers ! Our bathroom got some issue...

After staying four nights in this hotel, I would certainly recommend this hotel. I was staying in a double bedroom (room "mani" if I remember right) which although may not be the biggest room it is certainly big enough for two people. However, although the room is fine for friends I would recommend that this particular room is more suited...

This hostel felt more like a hotel. Rooms were very stylish and comfortable. Air conditioner was awesome!! The hostel is in a great location and was easy to access piublic transit. There is no communal kitchen nor any cooking facilities in the room and I did not like this aspect. My only complaint was the staff. The manager was friendly...

The most important thing in this hotel was clean and it had comfortable bed to sleep well after a long day out, wifi also available for free. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, our room was decorated with simple IKEA design. We were given tokens or vouchers for Breakfast at one of the coffee shops nearby the pastries...

The good thing was definitely the location, really close to Termini station, and the fact that it's a new place so things look clean. But other than that, I arrived and found out that they overbooked and I had to stay in a hostel next door. Wouldn't be a problem, but I had to change my room in the morning,...

If you are not looking for a luxury stay and just need the basics- clean room, clean bathroom, good shower and decent location this is the place. We went there in July so the rate was a little cheaper than the peak rate in September but still we were only paying 22 eur per person per night. There were 3...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
