The Vilòn universe set in the heart of Roma, in a former 16th century building hides within its ancient, fully refurbished walls, 18 precious gems. The rooms and suites provide an inviting bright ambiance ranging from intimate cozy bedrooms to unique original suites, many of which have private terraces with exclusive views of the Borghese Palace Gardens. Adelaide, Restaurant and Bar, offers a delicious menu of Mediterranean cuisine, which changes according to the seasons, with classics of the Roman tradition with fresh modern twists. In addition to the stylish and cozy dining room, the green outdoor patio dedicates a relaxing bohemian space where, especially during the warm seasons, is possible to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks “al fresco”.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small boutique hotel that the chief and I love. It’s located where the main entrance is in a small narrow street and you would miss it easily but don’t! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, as was the bathroom. The bar area is also lovely and intimate with couches and small seating areas. Breakfast is served in a room that looks like a room in a palace. You order from the menu, but there is also a little buffet with sweets, and croissants with smoked salmon. Highly recommend. It’s located within walking distance of all the must see places too’

Can I give 10 stars? Seriously 5 is not enough. This small luxury boutique hotel is located on a quiet street, much needed after the noise and crowds of Rome, but within walking distance to almost all major attractions. Rich textures and artwork throughout the hotel are beautifully designed for comfort and luxury. Comfortable sofas in the bar are a great place for a pre or after dinner cocktail. Adelaide restaurant for dinner was an amazing treat which we thoroughly enjoyed twice during our stay. As it was a special occasion we booked the Vilon Suite…even more beautiful than the website pictures and even offered a full steam shower. Comfort and extra touches abound in every space. I love a beautiful high end hotel, but I hate stuffy. This was not the case here. The staff, bartenders, waiters, managers were all beyond welcoming and friendly. Samuele went above and beyond and we cannot thank him enough. Needless to say I will return and return to this lovely hotel and will recommend to all going to Rome. Thank you!

Fantastic experience all around. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful in every way. The room is beautifully updated with several conveniences (safe, in room coffee maker, in room minibar). The hotel is centrally located being walking distance to most of the major sites while still being off a quiet, quaint street. Breakfast is fantastic! We will definitely return next time we’re in Rome. Thanks for making our honeymoon magical.

Perfect location, service amazing, staff so helpful in every manner, breakfast was our favourite meal of the day ! Cleanliness was truly exceptional with every little extra touch that you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Our room was lovely as well as functional with modern extras and little notes in the evening reminding you to charge your phone. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel - worth the price. Location was convenient, furnishings in the room and bathroom were top notch. Design is Italian modern and shows great taste. Service was simply impeccable. Staff were helpful, responsible, and went above and beyond. They were happy to help and honestly made our stay in Rome more enjoyable. The bar is lovely and the drinks were great. I guess the prices of the drinks were as stiff as they were, but that’s a minor issue. A real gem.

What an incredible hotel - the location, the room, the amenities, the staff! We had a terrific three night stay at the Vilon and could not have asked for more. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Rome.

A wonderful, small luxury hotel tucked away off a main street. Warm, welcoming and intimate, we loved everything about our stay. We had a garden facing room that was quiet and perfectly appointed. All of the little details and extras make this such a special place. Breakfast was a nice mix of hot items and a small continental buffet area with fresh juices and cakes (try the maritozzi cream filled brioche). We enjoyed one lunch at the hotel on arrival and the pastas were fantastic. The bar area is also a nice place to start the evening. Perfect location and atmosphere. We can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay in the Vilon. Since the moment we arrived everything was so perfect. The building and the rooms are beautiful, the location is the best in Rome; and the service is top. The staff make you feel like an Emperor, they are so great in all aspects.

Quite possibly the finest hotel we have had the pleasure to experience in all of our world travels ! My husband and I booked our trip to Rome a few months ago, and found Hotel Vilon online. The photos and reviews looked great, so we were excited about our stay. We had no idea that every single aspect of our stay would be so much more wonderful because of this extraordinary property! From the attentive and warm staff, to the beyond stunning and well appointed rooms, to the spectacular homemade daily pastries, to the fabulous food in the bar and restaurant, I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about this truly magical property. The location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the most important sights in Rome, and if you need a car service or a tour arranged, the lovely staff is more than happy to help assist you. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to leave this bit of paradise when our trip is over, but my husband and I have promised each other we will be back, and will make Hotel Vilon our special place to stay. Do not miss this incredible hotel.

Everything about this hotel is perfect! The location was perfect for us; quiet and easy for us to get to the city attractions. The room was gorgeous, clean, and quiet. The food and breakfast were delicious. The service from the moment we walked till departure was phenomenal. We will stay here any time we visit Rome!
