Frank's house is located in nice place near the Termini station. Due to this location, one who likes long walking can reach a major part of Rome's attractions afoot. There are 2 rooms in this B&B which can be offered for travelers (Frank lives in the third one). One of them has balcony and looks really attractively. Unfortunately this room...

My wife and I decided to splurge on an 8-day trip to Rome. We travel quite a bit but this was our first time in Rome and we were looking for a central location at a reasonable price. After lots of searching we discovered Frank's House, which looked as if it might meet our needs. I can't imagine a better...

Me and a friend stayed there for three great days, it was clean, tidy, and close to all tourist locations. We' re both very thankful for the truly kind treatment received, and it was really for an amazing price!!!

Frank's was recommended to me by some friends who had stayed there last summer. They'd had a nice experience and suggested that I stay there too. They stayed in the larger front room with the bathroom in the room, but when I went to make the reservation it had already been booked. But it didn't matter, I decided to take...

My son lives in Rome, and I visit there a few times a year and I always stay at "Frank's House. It's relaxing, cozy, immaculate. He is so sweet and goes out of his way to help you with whatever you need. He will suggest places where local people go..restaurants..etc. He is a gem and you would love staying there.....

Frank was a fantastic host during our four nights at his place. On our last morning, we had an early morning train reservation, and Frank set HIS alarm and got up early in order to call a taxi for us. Wow!! Talk about service, he is the best!!

I stayed for a few days at Frank's Place, booked over his website. First, the location is amazing. Aqueducts are visible from your windows, as well as Rome's version of central park which is quite beautiful on a clear night. The termini is very close, so are the great markets. As far as the host himself is concerned, Frank is...

Frank's House is one B&B that offers more than just a bed and breakfast. It's a quaint, private and comfortable space that feels just like home. Located near the lively Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Frank's House emits an energy that's the perfect balance of old and new. It's a well-planned space whose design reflects the best of Rome-- an eternal...

Rome is very expensive and accommodation is not always great value here compared to other places. Franks place was a bargain in comparison to other places! Frank himself was away when we visited, but he had organised somebody to let us in, show us what was where and gave us chance to ask any questions before she left. Sarah was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
