A short walk from Termini Station and loads of nice restaurants near by. The apartments had the best outdoor spaces and the bedrooms suited our family very well. The rooftop unit was the most spectacular. You could throw an amazing party up there.

This one is a bit of work especially if you have bags as the apartment is about 3 blocks from the reception. The reception was nice but they did not seem to be aware of our reservation. They are kind enough to carry our bags for the journey to the apartment. Clean enough but is older and in need of...

I had booked a three night stay at the Crosti Hotel. Warning bells starting going off when we got there and they told me we'd be staying in an apartment two blocks away. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a large, clean, two bedroom apartment with a large rooftop patio. Location was great for getting to the Termini and...

We stayed at the Crosti last year and took our 10 year old grandchildren this June. We had apartment14, two good sized bedrooms, living area and large terrace. The apartment was very clean, well fitted out, and beds and bathroom were excellent. The apartments are close to the Metro, with a good shop just round the corner, a local resto...

When husband and I were presently surprised with the Crosti apartments! When we arrived, we were greeted by the guy at the front desk who was very helpful and gave us some tips on our room/metro/etc. The room itself is not fancy, but it is clean and spacious. There is a kitchenette, a living area with a couch, a terrace,...

The Crosti Apartments were OK. I wouldn't rule it out in the future, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again The Good: Location had easy access to Metro and Good Restaurants Terrace was nice, but no view We got the room as part of a package deal and it seemed like a nice value...

When we booked this stay (through a consolidator), it was not super clear to us that we would be staying off-premises in a rather gloomy apartment building. The apartment itself was spacious, but a bit on the bleak side. Two large rooms, kitchenette (kind of), washing machine, pullout couch in the living area in case someone needs to escape snoring....

Spacious, well equipped apartment kept spotlessly clean. Kitchen facilities include Nespresso coffee machine with free coffee replenished every day - also free mineral water in fridge. Cutlery/crockery might be a little sparse if you wanted to self-cater; we didn't. Some might find the bed (appt 20) rather firm. Good bathroom with walk-in shower; good pressure and temperature. Wall-mounted heaters/aircon which...

We stayed at Crosti Apartments for five days at the beginning of January 2013. The apartment is really BIG (two rooms, kitchen, big bathroom with shower, wide terrace) and it is situated just a stone's throw from Termini Station. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and you can take a bus from there anywhere you want (buses bring more...

We stayed for two nights with our 2 children. The apartments are well located, close to the underground station for line B. it takes less than 15 mins to the Colosseum. The room is spacious and very well equipped. It is serviced each day and very clean. There are a good range of restaurants within a few minutes walk. The...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“We chose the apartments (vs hotel room). It is a couple of block walk from the hotel where breakfast was served each day. But it was a pleasant walk through a nice/safe neighborhood. There was an elevator, we often took the stairs. We will stay here again.”
