Close to turmini railway station, only small sign outside so a little difficult to find but is directly opposite the Opera House. Paolo the host was very welcomimg and helpful throughout the stay. and gave some very useful tips about site seeing in Rome. The room was nicely decorated and quite spacious the only slight downside being the shower was...

Paulo, my host, has created a wonderful, warm and elegant B & B in Central Rome. This is a treasure of a find in Rome. Paulo is a young man with a vision and is certainly succeeding with this. There are 2 double rooms and a suite, all with ensuite bathrooms, beautifully decorated all named after composers, in relation to...

Paulo was the most gracious and helpful host! Rome would have been more difficult without his expert advice on getting around the city and our B&B was a wonderful respite to come "home" to after a long day. The room itself was spotless and elegant...much larger than we expected to find in Europe. Paulo cares meticulously for the B&B, providing...

We loved our stay at Armonia All'Opera. The location was good, close to Termini. Neighborhood felt safe. Paolo was warm and very helpful. Arranged for car to meet us at airport, offered advice on daily activities, recommended great restaurant across street, Giardino Viminale or something like that. The room was beautiful and quiet. Very clean. and comfortable, lovely furnishings. Enjoyed...

Stayed in Armonia in Sept with my girlfriend and enjoyed a wonderful stay. The rooms are immaculate, very spacious and good value for money relative to Rome. The furnishings in the room are to the highest standards as the family who owns it also have a furniture business. Location is great if you are travelling by train as its only a...

We were only using the hotel (or B&B as listed) as a place to stop overnight en route to Southern Italy. It was ideally positioned for the main railway station but was also in a pleasantly quiet street - not what you might have thought as you headed towards it. It has just a few rooms within part of a...

Very conveniently positioned near the train station. Very beautifully presented with a wide choice of Italian breakfasts. My eleven year old son ate nearly everything. The owner was a great host who made us feel welcome. He gave us some great information and top tips for our sightseeing. I will reccommend this to my friends.

We were welcomed at the front door by Paolo, the owner, who went above and beyond to assist us with restaurant recommendations and directions, and he even provided us with a power converter, which we had forgotten. The free wireless internet service was great, and the suite was beautifully furnished with handmade pieces from Paolo's father's furniture company. The King-sized...

So, I stayed here in July 2009 and enjoyed the air conditioning, the clean room, the big bed, the quiet of the place. What I didn't like so much is the breakfast, needs some yogurt and eggs to be really great. The bathroom is tiny, and there is no atmosphere or ability to hang out and chat with others.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
