This place was perfect for our one night in Rome. The room was clean and simple, with no view (except back building). Emanuela welcomed us and was very accommodating, (considering there was a mix up with our dates). It is only a 10 min walk to the Vatican and about a 30 min walk to other popular sites like Trevi...

A bit off the beaten track (desirable, when you're fighting your way through the throngs) and as quiet, lovely, clean and comfortable as it gets! The property we stayed in has three rooms, each lovely in its own way - I believe we had the largest with a small fridge and plenty of space to move around in. The owners...

We stayed for 2 nights and would happily recommend this B & B to all our friends. Its in a great location and is surrounded by local restaurants where people are friendly and helpful. The owner is lovely. She doesnt speak English but thanks to good info in the room with wifi etc, it wasnt needed. In emergencies, her daughter...

Almes Roma B and B has been very good! We are stayed in Rome for 3 days then we went to Florence for 3 day And then we returned to Rime for 2 more. We made Almes our residence for our Rome portion. Almes is in the Vatican area (15 minute walk) but it is far enough away from the...

My spring-time stay at Almes B&B leapt from good to excellent because of the proprietor's rescue help. I left my glasses in the room and Emanuela quickly notified me and had them sent to me in Naples. My wife and I chose Almes because of its proximity to the Vatican. The room, while small, was well-appointed with all the essentials...

We stayed in their garden apartment for 3 nights in September 2014 for a city break in Rome with an 18 month old!!! And we cannot speak highly enough of the apartment, Emanuela and her mum Sylvana. The apartment was clean, modern, spacious enough for the 3 of us, very well equipped and within a 15 minute walk to the...

My wife and I sayed at the Almes in May and again in June 2014. We cannot say enough good things about the hotel and especially Sylvana!! She was so helpful, friendly, and a joy to talk to. Even though my Italian isn't the best we communicated well and she was very patient. It was my wife's first trip to...

I stayed at the AlmesB&B Garden Apartment for 2 ½ weeks in July 2014 – it is a marvelous choice for a stay in Rome, and I highly recommend it. The GARDEN apt is something new for Almes, they just opened it, so it is updated, modern, well fitted out, very clean. The apartment is a small one bedroom apartment....

A short 10 minute walk to the Vatican, and it was nice to be away from all the tourists. Loved the coffee shop where we were given vouchers for coffee and croissants. They were very nice to us there and on our last day, they wouldn't let us pay for the extras the kids got. The lady who welcomed us...
