We loved the owners who gave us a great room in their annex. The breakfest was welcoming and the location is superb. It is walking distance to th Spainish Steps and good restaurants. We would stay there again.

I would be hard pressed to overstate how wonderful our experience was. Great location, immaculate care, like staying at a friend's home. The owner/manager was involved in every detail and invested in the quality of our trip. Considering the price was half that of a major chain, the quality really is outlandish.

We arrived at 4pm and were not made aware when booking through an outside source that after 4pm during the week no one would be there. We did see someone the second and third night we were there, but the week day that we arrived, the person who normally was there had to leave which left no one. Upon arriving,...

Overall an average quality room and acceptable bathroom but with a distinct lack of hot water (the staff acknowledged this, but could not do anything and refused any compensation). I grapple to understand the high ratings.

The hotel is in the center, close to the Spanish steps. The room was good, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was great, very tasty. But the best thing was the service............ And not expensive at all.......

A few steps from Via Veneto, many restaurants, Piazza di Spagna. Martina, Rosalba, Simona and Opu were great in every way. It could really be a top notch facility, but badly needs updating. The bed in the first room we stayed was hard as a rock. Same in the second room, but you could also feel the coils on the...

After months of looking for the perfect place to stay (my partner proposed in Rome and it was a surprise trip so he did a lot of research), he booked a b&b through late rooms...when we arrived it was double booked and this was late rooms fault. Anyway, we were stranded in Rome on a Friday afternoon looking for somewhere...

Bizarre boarding house. I agree with Douglas F. We were told that there was a problem with the water in our room and were offered the brand 'new' suite 800m down the road. There was a pneumatic drill working in the hall which looked like a building site. We had asked for a bath rather than shower but were told...

Nice but the Oddest hotel we've stayed at. The picture shows a multi story quaint building but in fact it's just the second floor that is the hotel the rest are offices. It's a bit weird when you arrive and have to press an intercom button to be let in then go up to the second floor. There are probably...

We got to the hotel just to be told our room had no hot water so they moved us, at their expense, to what was called a "luxury" B & B. Needless to say it was a low class B & B, without a breakfast. The second day we got into our room at Beau Site. Be aware, this is...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A unique place, where the guest is the center of everything, welcomed and pampered from the initial smile to the last goodbye, which always leaves a taste of sweet nostalgia to everyone. This is the daily experience at Beau Site, luxurious Boutique Hotel in Via Ludovisi, an elegant street in the heart of Rome, just a few steps away from the magnificent Villa Borghese, that links Via Veneto, birthplace of La Dolce Vita, to Via Sistina, from which guests will reach in a few minutes the most attractive architectural, historical and artistic sights, such as the stairway of Trinità dei Monti, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via del Corso and Piazza Navona. The beautiful building where our Antica Residenza is located was built by the famous family of Roman architects Busiri Vici and came originally with the idea of a private home; then, the tranquility, sophistication and exclusivity of the location suggested the restructuring of a portion of the building, in order to create a jewel of hospitality that could ensure class, privacy and relaxation. The elegant décor, the style of the impeccable service and the comfort of each of the environments create a charming atmoshpere that makes pleasurable and memorable even the shortest stay. The Beau Site is a residence which is historical, but still Hi-Tech: the free WiFi and the iPad, available to our customers, are just some of the small details that contribute to create a balanced union of style and efficiency. In the morning, in the Bow Window room (unique in its genre) the continental breakfast is served on a buffet full of sweet and salted meals, always fresh and accompanied by the best Italian coffee and typical products.A special selection of drinks was made by a Sommelier especially for guests of Beau Site, even the most demanding ones. All is provided by a special service in the Bow Window dining room, or in total discretion in your bedroom.Among the various services offered: LCD satellite TV, free WiFi access, free AirPrint, check-in online for flights, online "jump-the-line" bookings for the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Borghese Gallery etc., send/receive fax, transfer to/from airports, city guides, bookings for tours, open top bus, personal shopper, car rental.Who’s choosing our Boutique Hotel Beau Site knows what he will find, but never expects what being in this unique place really means, until he discovers by himself, being pleasantly surprised. ... more   less
