Recently I and my girlfriend had a very pleasant stay at this B&B. The host was friendly, the room was nice and tidy. We were provided with clean towels. The breakfast was OK, simple but you could eat all you want (from 8 to 10 a.m.). Tough there was no "open kitchen for you to prepare meal yourself (it didn't...

This accommodation is very hard to find. There are hardly any sign from outside. The only indication that they exist is the small name La Casa di Rosy at the doorbell together with the ten or so other tenants in the building. The entire inn is relatively small, about six rooms, and yet wi-fi is not strong enough to reach...

Booked 4 rooms- 3 double and 1 single. The aircon on one of the double room did not work, so we tried to get in contact with the B&B staff but no one answered!! Was promised to fix the aircon, but nothing happend. There were also bedbugs at the Single room and the double room- disgusting!!! Poor breakfast. The area where...

We had a terrible experience at this B&B. Young girl working the front desk spoke limited English and knew very little. She just kept saying "I am new". About 10:00 pm all electricity in the entire building went out. We called several numbers that were on a business card we had, but no answer. Was very hot so we left...

Me and my dad stayed here, and it was a great, cheap alternative to some of the more expensive hotels in Rome. It was close to the Colosseum (a short walk away), and near to Termini. It would probably be hard to find if you didn't know which number it was (10), but once you are used to the location,...

Having previously stayed before, we knew what to expect this time around and a bit disappointed with value in terms of what we paid this year. Yes, well Located 5-10 min walk from Termini Station. Yes, elevator for luggage. Very Small B&B operated, limited to no english, hosts speak italian only. booked via Hotelclub.com.au and paid about 90-100 EUR per...

My fiancé and I stayed here in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed. Don’t see many reviews so wanted to give my opinion on this B&B. OK to start – GREAT VALUE and YES! Please note, it is a TYPICAL Rome B&B, with decent sized rooms, refrigerator/mini bar, WIFI, renovated bathrooms (with a real door...no-shower curtain!), limited English spoken, non-smoking and basics...

We arrived at night and took half an hour to locate this, you need the street number, its located on the 3rd floor of a large apartment block with poor signage. The staff are good, rooms at front are noisy due to traffic and tram. The breakfast is stale or at best pre frozen white bread, two choices of sweet...

A very good clean place to stay with an OK breakfast. Position is good for metro with plenty of places to eat near plus many shops and supermarkets. Lift to 3rd floor. All fine with us no problems. Friendly staff.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
