We were more than happy with our stay at QuodLibet. Beautiful room with high ceilings and en-suite bathroom. All of this only a 10min walk from the Vatican. Owner provided a map and restaurant recommendations which turned out to be great. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed there 7 days. Spotless, quiet, centrally located to Vatican and many other sites. We walked over 10 miles one day and all because hotel location. Great Gelato store nearby and a 24 hr pastry shop downstairs. Owner was so helpful with directions and we had early morning trips planned that they prepared early breakfast in refrig for us.

A little late review as we actually visited in 2013, but never late to praise an excellent choice. QuodLibet is an excellent B&B, placed at a perfect location in a 10-15 minute walking distance from Rome Center and in a 3-5 minute walking distance from the Vatican & metro station. Our 2 hosts, made our stay even better giving us...

This place is a dream for independent travelers. Located in a great neighborhood (Prati) it feels like having your own apartment but provides hospitality and amenities that AirBnBs lack. Run by two incredibly helpful and accommodating brothers-in-law -- who compliment each other nicely -- you can get concierge level tips and support as much or as little as you'd like....

QuodLibet (Latin - "what pleases") is a terrific small, comfortable and uber-friendly B&B located just steps from the Ottaviano Metro station and a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. There are few rooms, which means the service is very personalized, and GianLuca and family will make every effort to make sure your stay in Rome is comfortable and fun. Modern...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
