Don't let first impressions put you off. The lobby holds the bins to the complex which doesn't look or smell very good. But once you get past that it is you will be impressed. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, we had a small balcony and they have amenities. The bathroom was spacious and...

We stayed here for three days last week and it was absolutely perfect. The price was excellent, the service was great and it was a perfect location! This hotel exceeded our expectations and I can see why it has such a great review. Thank you for making our first time in Rome very comfortable :)

Booked the hotel for a short break in Rome, the pictures on the website don't do the hotel justice, rooms are very clean and modern, staff are helpful and friendly. Brilliant central location for Rome's best sights. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Unfortunately there was building work being done at the hotel entrance which didn't make...

We stayed here for 3 nights in March and it was ideal. Admittedly it was a little hard to find as it's not your conventional hotel entrance, but thankfully the taxi driver dropped us right at the door with the directions we got from the website. Once inside it was lovely and clean. We got a superior room with a...

Arrived well before check in time so hotel kept our bags while we went sight seeing. All staff very friendly. Room just what we needed - air con wasn't 100% but wasn't too warm, would need it working for height of summer. Bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast simple but plenty on offer and all fresh. Close to Termini and metro...

26 modern, comfortable rooms in 4 sections of older building; retains classic charm (birdcage elevator) without sacrificing modern convenience; rooms tastefully decorated with new linnens throughout helpful staff appeared to enjoy answering our questions about local transport Location a real plus for us; 1 block off major thoroughfair in thriving commercial district, abundant restaurants within easy walking distance but still...

This was our second stay at Suite Dreams, and once again we weren't disappointed. Great location, helpful and friendly staff, we always get a good deal (we book directly on their website) and a lovely comfortable place to rest after a long day of sight seeing. We really love staying here and will be back.

I stayed at Suite Dreams during my stay in Rome as part of a 2.5 week trek through Italy. I also stayed at 5 other hotels so I will be making some comparisons. I choose Suite Dreams because of the location and it was not as close as I though it would be to the train station. I walked and...

Came here for my boyfriends birthday for a trip to Rome. The room was very clean and spacious, the jacuzzi bath was a bonus. The room was modern and well kept especially for the price. The entrance is hard to determine but we got a taxi from the airport so he took us straight there. The reception staff where always...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
