This is a fancy hotel near the center. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant. Recommended. Historic views from the rooftop. Comfortable room. Toilet paper was cheap. Everything else was great! Staff was super nice, they make you feel very special.
We had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. We were able to walk to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and piazza Navola. Ohanna, in the breakfast room and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet and dark.
Avoid any balcony rooms. Le Mille across the street plays loud music until 2am. It can be heard in the room. Balcony view is nothing great just the building next to you. This hotel also does not have carpeting in halls, so every rolling suitcase and conversation in the hallway is loud. Elevator ding is loud. Basically bring earplugs.
We booked a suite at the Tribune Hotel for our 6 night stay in Rome. We arrived well before check-in due to taking an overnight flight from the US and to my surprise our room was ready for us. We had a room on the 5th floor with a small walk-out balcony. As there were three of us staying in the suite, I was happy to see that the small couch at the end of the bed was already made up for our child. Storage space for folded items was lacking as was space at the vanity and the bathroom. However, I expected European rooms to be smaller than what we are used to when traveling in the US. What I really enjoyed about this hotel was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff called a taxi for us whenever needed and helped direct us to where we should get our COVID tests before returning to the US. The cafe staff was wonderful every morning at breakfast. Greeting us warmly and making take away cappuccinos for us just about every morning. The food selection was good and I enjoyed my mornings there - fruit salad, cereals, meats, eggs, cheese selection, pastries, coffee machine and fresh juices. The staff kept things cleaned up and well stocked. We had dinner at the restaurant on the terrace one night and our waiter was fantastic. Again, very friendly, gave us suggestions, and made sure our take away order for my husband who didn't join us was brought to the room after we finished up. The restaurant food was good, limited menu, high prices but I find that standard for hotel restaurants. The location is on the quieter side. Yes, the rooms can be a bit noisy though I only noticed this when I had windows and doors open to the outside. It is near a very busy street but we didn't notice it when it mattered most (bedtime). You can easily walk just about anywhere you want to go. Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and Borghese Gardens are all just a short walk (10-15 min) away. We opted to take a taxi on several occasions to get around when needed and to give our feet a break. We walked SO MUCH in Rome and it was a wonderful way to see the city... but everyone needs a break now and then. I would definitely recommend staying at the Tribune for a little slice of luxury while enjoying Rome. They'll take good care of you.…
very noisy from the street, a small room that does not correspond to the photo, to which I was told at the reception that in the photo they give the best room. The location is average, you still need to take a taxi on foot far enough. I do not recommend for this money and even without breakfast
I'm surprised this is only a 4 star hotel - it has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. It had a much larger room than I'm used to getting in Europe, with a comfortable bed and excellent amenities with the shower, bathroom overall, desk, couch, and balcony. It was very clean, well-serviced, and a very comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I would 100% stay here again. Loved it! I love the area around the Villa Borghese as it's much quieter. I always stay in this area when I visit Rome. That said, we did walk a lot which may not work for many travelers. The front desk gets you a taxi very quickly and easily but note that there is not a metro stop nearby. If you're ok with walking or taxiing, this shouldn't be an issue! All the most beautiful hotels are in this area.…
My overall experience was great. I'm vegan born and raised and it was challenging finding something to eat. I had to order food in a foreign place with no English translations of the ingredients so it was quite challenging. Besides the food issue I loved the hotel.
Superb hotel. Nice renovation, keeping some character but with all modern amenities. I thought the location would be a question mark but the city is so small it was no issue. You can get anywhere in 15-30 minutes by foot. The borghese gardens are nice and the subway is not far. The only issue is the few restaurants nearby. Breakfast was wonderful. Great for Hyatt members
A little mix up at the beginning of our stay as I had booked 2 suites and we had been allocated rooms, but this was amicably sorted out. The king rooms with small balcony were very nice and the suites were even better as had lots of space.Breakfast had a good choice each morning and staff were always welcoming and attentive. The hotel is up hill from main attractions but easily walkable and had a variety of restaurants in the area. We ate one evening on the rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent as was the service. I booked during Covid lockdown and got a terrific price for this quality. Possible a lot more now.
This is a wonderful hotel. Everything is clean and modern, and the staff is extremely friendly. The blackout curtains were the best I've encountered and I got some great sleep. Breakfast was good. The location right near Borgese Villa Gardens, and within a 20 minute walk of most of the major landmarks in Rome was great. The are numerous restaurant choices right nearby.
