It is a pleasant b&b with most of the amenities you would need including hairdryer, soap and shampoo (not the best of quality but it will do you fine if you are there for a few days). It also says breakfast is provided but do not expect anything substantial... You are given a kitchen and milk and biscuits in the...

Clean and spacious room. Use of a shared kitchen and no balcony (sure it said balcony when I booked) Lift to 4th floor touch and go... Good security and a nice couples of restaurants near by. No air con and the nights were a killer, so hot it was hard to sleep.

I stayed 8 nights in this place and it was very good. The price was very cheap so I expected to see low quality place, but it was not the case. The room was very big and very clean. Also, the man working there was so kind and he very well received me. Lucky House is located at 5 minutes...

I stayed for 3 nights. The manager was very friendly. The location is about 4-5 blocks from Roma Termini. There are two supermarkets where you can buy food and cook at the Lucky House or plenty of restaurants.

We were staying 4 nights at Luckyhouse in September 2014. It is generally acceptable if you don't stay too long. The B&B is located close to Termini/Main station, 2 minutes to walk. From there you can reach every destination you want. The area around is a bit shabby, with many homeless people hanging around at night. Our room was looking...

Few steps from Roma Termini surrounded by restaurants and super markets. Walkable distance to couple of attractions in Rome. Bus station is near. Actually breakfast is not included. We can access kitchen and we have to prepare tea or coffee. Tea/Coffee powder, biscuits, milk are available. Nice caretaker. He allowed to keep the luggage after we checkout. Neat, clean and...

We stayed in Lucky House one night on our way back from Venice. We arrived in Rome at 3pm from Venice and wanted to spend few hours exploring Rome before leaving for home the next morning. The reason we booked this place was because of its proximity to the train station. We had only one evening in Rome, we thought...

Me and my partner wanted a decent hotel that was affordable and close to explore all the sights. A tough order I know. Luckily for us the Lucky House was all of these things. Just a couple of streets or so away from termini station , the hotel wasn't that hard to find. A member of staff was outside to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
