The room was clean and tidy. The hotel common area was welcoming. Great people and team work here. All receptionists specially Alessandro were helpful and informative. The breakfast was being served every morning and the two ladies were making guests feel special. Benzel was looking after breakfast area during the week and spoke perfect English. Benzel is an asset to this cozy hotel. I also noticed the hotel manager visiting the breakfast buffet in two occasions to make sure that everything is in order but what got my attention was the way he was treating his staff members. He was talking to them with respect and more like a friend than a manager. Thanks for making my visit to Rome a memorable one. A++
This hotel is taking the extra mile in difficult Covid times. Friendly and very helpful staff during check-in/out and bfast. Walking distance from Tuscolana train station. Quiet area but close to metro. Room quality was good: clean, good bed. Only the wifi was a bit unstable. Good value for money.
Stayed in the hotel for 4 days and I was very pleased with the experience! Clean room, good breakfast and in general a very nice hotel. The receptionists Santiago and Dimitris were extremely nice and helpful, giving some great lunch and dinner suggestions! Definitely recommend
Good hotel. Rooms was bit small but clean. Breakfast was below average lady at the breakfast area was bit rude but front desk and house keeping were friendly. Regional line trains from/to airport stop at Roma Tuscolana Station which is like 10 mins walk from the hotel.
If you are looking for a hotel with a different view towards touring Rome, I recommend staying here primarily b/c its location is excellent. The trains to the airport are nearby at Roma Tuscolana Station & Red line Metro Stop Re di Roma will take you straight into the busiest parts of the city. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. I enjoyed my walks south to north into the parts of Rome I had visited before. Great change of perspective to approach the Colosseum and Caracalla Baths from the side and then wander into Testaccio for an afternoon coffee.
Me and my husband stayed here for a short stay its 10 min walk to station the hotel rooms were lovely and had everything you needed locally the pubs n restaurants are a short walk breakfast is nice too staff lovely perfect one of the best best western I've stayed in so far would highly recommend staying here thanks to all
I booked the Best Western Cinemusic Hotel as a surprise for my wife Birthday (although we ended up flying back on her actual Birthday due to the only flights that were available when I booked). The 3 male Staff members on the reception desk were all very helpful and friendly, and the room we had (111) was worth paying the upgrade just to have some outside space. The room was cleaned daily and was always left spotless, we left out ipads, mobiles phones and cash regularly and had no concerns about leaving these items on show. Nothing was a bother, if we asked for extra coffee and cups or an additional toothbrush (due to dropping mine down the back of the sink and didn't feel comfortable brushing my teeth with the toothbrush any more). We never tried breakfast, but this (if we had chosen it) only came in at 5 euro each, for a continental style breakfast. we opted to pick up a few snack/cereal bars and left these in the fridge along with our waters we bought from the near supermarkets (both less than 5 minute walk away). The metro was a 5 minute walk away too meaning (when you weren't being shoved onto a replacement bus (had to do this from Terminus to Colosseum)) you could easily get around Rome. We booked this hotel not expecting much as I received a very good room rate, but I would happily book this hotel again!!! (on a personal note, we found it a bit of a struggle looking for somewhere to eat on the evenings (other than getting the metro out of the way) and only on the last day did we find and amazing Chinese Restaurant literally around the corner (must have walked passed it dozens of times on the way to the metro too!!).…
A nice hotel in a convenient location near the subway and public transport, as well as a relatively comfortable easy walk to Coliseum (35 mins). The room was comfortable and clean and spacious, the advantage of staying a little further out of the city. The breakfast on offer for 5 euros is reasonable and good value for money. There are a number of nearby restaurants, wine bars and gelato shops! The staff were friendly and helpful and able to provide information on all local services.
The only room left for me at the hotel was room 100 in the ground floor. No window. Small glass above the bed is not a window. Good location near subway is a great advantage. 1.5euro for one way trip to city center is good. Breakfast was average, but good enough. If you are with a car, there is also a parking service. Staff were polite. I don't know other hotels, but this one was OK. Not more.
As for location, this hotel was pretty much perfect for my needs. We got a train out of the airport to Tuscolana at just €8-one way and from here it is a short walk down one street. For getting around the city there's a tube station 5 minutes away and from here we were able to get to all the main sights in just a few moments. Greeted at the hotel by the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. They're a real asset to this hotel. I was given a map on the first night and the receptionist went out of his way to show me the best routes to see the many historical locations dotted around the city. Always happy to help. The room was sadly the let down. Whilst it was clean and had blackout curtains the overall decor was very dated. The shower handle fell off three times and was quite heavy so if it had hit my foot I'd imagine I would've broken it. The shower itself was in the bedroom, with just a shower door and the toilet consisted of two sliding glass doors, very cramped. The air conditioning only half worked with air coming out of only one of the two vents. Also it was only activated by leaving a keycard in the activation switch which meant when leaving and returned the room was very stuffy in the heat and took a while to cool down. I suppose any card in the switch would have sufficed for it to work I guess if you're looking to overcome this issue. The room came with a fridge but the stocked food inside was out of date. The room didn't come with a do not disturb sign on the door so the cleaners, at no fault of theirs, knocked the room on two occasions. I didn't opt for the breakfast but there seemed to be a lot of cereals on offer and the dining area was well presented. The hotel had a nice rooftop terrace which was accessed through the kitchen. There was plenty of number of sunbeds. The hot tub was very grubby, and the water seemed to have been sitting there for some time - I'm not sure when it was last cleaned as it had a green scum on the surface, the local pigeons were enjoying a dip. I would avoid. The overall lay out of the hotel was a little odd. We stayed on the third floor so to access our room form the lift we had to walk through the kitchen and dining area. It's also very easy to get lost walking down the stairs. Overall, not a bad stay. But definitely wouldn't rate it a 4 star experience.…
