A planned visit to Pompeii and Herculaneum necessitated a stay in near-by Naples. I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor recommendations, price and location, although I was not really sure as to how the location would pan out. I found the hotel to be roughly nine-tenths of a mile from the central rail station. It was a surprisingly modern hotel... More

If you get the room on street side, remember take earblugs with you. The noise was terrible. It wasnt " completly soundproof" as they say . Photos on their websites are not thrutful, the thruth is quite dull and small. Beds are hard, good if you like hard beds, and the cover was only sheet and disgusting rug. There was... More

Although a little out of the city centre this wasn't a problem. The busses were regular and easy to navigate. Whilst people have complained about the area, yes it is scruffy and battered and some of the half demolished still lived in apartment blocks have to be seen to be believed and yes the people appear to be very poor,... This newly invented hotel in modern Italian style offers high class service, nice rooms, really good breakfast at very fair price. The staff were kind and proactive in every sense. The Hotel Palazzo Salgar is situated very close to the historic part of Naples and almost at the entrance to the harbor and the ferries to Ischia and Capri. If... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. You could not fault the hotel staff or hotel. Not a fantastic location opposite the port but pleasant enough. Room comfy and modern always clean. Breakfast typical Italian. Staff always spoke excellent English and only too willing to help with advice. Short walk of town centre and old town probably 15 mins. About 20... More

The hotel was very nice, the included breakfasts exceptional and the staff helpful. The surroundings of the hotel are not really tourist friendly, but since the hotel is very close to the cruise terminal, it's a very good choice for cruise hoppers.

Stayed for 3 nights in a Junior Suite. Location wise - hotel is situated a 10/15 minute walk from the main rail station so useful if are arriving from other parts of the country by rail (as I did) to save on the hassle/money of Taxis. Naples itself is certainly an interesting City, it did appear to me to live... More

Good location, friendly hotel staff, nice rooms. Within close walking distance to old town. Hotel is clean, quiet and has a decent complimentary breakfast. About a mile from the train station, cruise ships are visible from the hotel.

This little gem of a hotel is extremely modern and extremely well looked after and very clean. Rooms are small-ish but are fully equipped with everything that you would need and have a great bathroom We got the Alibus from Naples Airport, waited to get off at Molo Beverello Port, only to realise that we got off at the wrong...
