We stayed here in July of this year and it was a really enjoyable experience. Max the host is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations. Bit hard to find, but it maybe that was just us and our terrible sense of direction. Very nice building with lots of character :) will stay again

When you arrive to the hotel you buzz at the gate. There are 55 steps ( 6 flights of stairs) up to the hotel door, keep in mind that this building is from the 1700s and the stairs are part of the charm. Maxime the host is very welcoming, knowledgeable about the history of the hotel, knows the area well...

I found this hotel by chance when reading an article on Pieni Napolin kohdeopas, a Finnish online guide about Naples. The hot is quite small, they don't have many rooms, but we loved the location in historic centre and the relaxed yet very heart and attentive attitude of Maxilmilian who runs the place. Our room had good air conditioning, was...

This hotel is very reasonably priced for a city hotel and does not come with "luxuries". If you like unusual, somewhat quirky places which are clean and provide hot water, a helpful and friendly manager, a decent (if not fancy) breakfast, is close to transport and within walking distance of the historic centre of Naples and the wonderful National Archaeological...

Thank you for your kind words. We are happy you liked the room overlooking the garden. In our property you can sleep in the center without hearing the city noise. We hope you'll come again in our structure. See you soon.

Great base, hotel a little more run down than its photographs portray, shower very disappointing! Room over looking the street, great for making you know you're in Naples! Max is a great host. We didn't stay in a lot and didn't have breakfast. The room lacked anywhere to store your clothes with only a wardrobe with 4 coat hangers!! But...

What I most liked about this hotel was its character and neighborhood. It was a comfortable, safe place to stay, while in Naples, a good base to explore the city and vicinity. My room was right above the front street, and, some nights, I felt like I was participating in the lives of the locals. Boy, are they a lively...

This hotel is easy to miss, hidden behind a gateway and on the third floor of an old building. Carrying Large rooms (we had a deluxe one) with high ceilings and a nicely finished bathroom. Comfortable bed and good quality linen and towels. Max, the manager, a wandering Dutchman, was a fount of knowledge and stories - some taller than...

It's hard to spot this hotel - being located within an old Italian courtyard /apartment building on a narrow street - and exhausting to haul suitcases up 6 short flights of steps to the entrance, but we were so glad we chose it. This is a unique hotel experience, from the historic building and beautiful ceilings, high quality fittings, comfortable...

Previous reviews and photos gave us a good idea of the rooms and building that Le Stanze is in We stayed five nights in March 2015 and were very comfortable here, with just a few reservations that older travelers or families should understand: As others have remarked, the 60 steps may not be for all. Also, the narrow street and...
