Probably the cleanest, nicest, and best located hotel of our entire trip. Corner pastry shop has all the coffee you could want. A two block walk leads you into the heart of Sorrento.

Loved the multi color lights in the shower and the patio to sit out and watch the locals cruise past!

We have just returned home from spending a week at The Night in Sorrento. We were greeted by the lovely Davide who was very friendly and went through all the information we needed to know for the week.
It's located at the end of Corso Italia-the opposite end to the station but it only takes 10 mins to get there walking. It's close to everything you will need. We had 2 twin rooms and both were immaculately clean! The rooms are of a good size. The bathrooms are pretty large and look brand new. There is a disco light shower which is fab and the shower is really good and poweful-I didn't want to get out! Tea and coffee is provided and you also have a fridge is you want to buy milk etc. There's a flat screen tv. And loads of towels!!
A simple breakfast is provided. They give you a voucher for the cafe next door where you receive a choice of croissant or brioche and a huge coffee and a orange juice. If you want a large English breakfast you won't receive this here but we enjoyed our breakfast and was enough for us.
We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We based ourselves in sorrento and took different day trips each day along the amalfi coast and to Capri. This hotel was in the perfect position walking distance to the port, train and bus services. Around the corner from main street and in a safe area. The hotel was clean with TV, Ipad and strong wifi signal. Would recommend to anyone.

We arrived at hotel 'the night' after we booked because of the good reviews we read on booking.com. When we got there, there was no one there. We called the hotel and someone was coming to get us. 'Max' picked us up and told us we were actually staying in La Nuit. (Whilst we booked for viglia d'aranci 11) At first,he gave us a room without a balcony, but gave one as requested and paid for, when i asked. We thought okay, no problem, as long as it is tidy. It was, but that was it. Scruffy building to be honest.

The breakfast was in a cafe, within a five minute walk, and was not great at all. Orange juice, coffee and one piece of pastry. Luigi, the other hotel keeper, was really unfriendly and wasn't there when we had to check out. We almost missed our ferry. Thankfully he was bringing some people breakfast on bed, otherwise we'd still be there (really don't get why? We would have appreciated it too). Also told us we had not paid the room... all he had to do, was check his paperwork before accusing us.

On the bright side, room was tidy and we had a balcony at a reasonable price. Sorrento is a good hub to visit other places, but that's about it.

Can't believe so many people had a good experience. Truthfull?

The location is off the main market area . This is just a Bed and bath accommodation , with no provision for breakfast . However , nearby shops /restaurants are ok. The biggest issue we faced was that the elevator needs Euro 10c coins to operate , and we did not have small change . Hence all bags had to be manually lifted to the 1st floor .There is no staff available full time to help .

Good budget accommodation, in central location. Quite a walk from railway station with luggage. Bus stops directly outside hotel. Don't rely on Amalfi bus stopping - best to go up to the railway station to ensure a seat. For 8 euros a day ticket, hop on -hop off bus runs from outside the station to Amalfi and Ravello. Local bus trips cost 1.20 euros
per journey.

I spent a month at the b&b "The Night" in Sorrento in February 2016. It was an amazing experience, which I will never forget.
The Night is centrally located and all Sorrento attractions are within walking distance. The Railway station ( from where the trains take you to Naples, Pompei or Vesuvius..) is just a few minutes' walk away and from the bus stop right across the street you can take a bus to various beautiful cities on the Amalfi Coast ( Positano, Amalfi, Ravello Minori...)
The rooms at The Night are modernly decorated and well equipped with AC, mini fridge, TV , WiFi etc. and always cleaned to perfection. The rooms are spacious and the beds super comfortable. I slept like a log during my whole stay there.
From the first minute when I arrived I felt welcomed. At the reception I was greeted by Anna, one of the owners, who instantly made me feel like coming home. Kindness and helpfulness of the owners/staff is definitely the greatest strength of this B&B . The staff , always attentive and friendly ,went beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy. I also give special thanks to Anna, who gave me great recommendations and advice for where to eat and what places to visit, attractions which I would never have found by myself.
To conclude, not IF but WHEN I return to Sorrento I know exactly where to stay. The Night is not only perfect for those who travel by themselves like me, but also for families, couples and groups of friends. I highly recommend The Night to everybody. Thank you Anna, Vitale, Claudia, Davide, Sveta! Hope to see you soon!

We picked that place as our base for Amalfi Coast holiday and it proved to be a perfect choice!
The Night is perfectly located, just minutes walk from Marina Grande and main area with shops and restaurants. It has also a really easy access to the bus or train station.
The hotel itself is small with 4 rooms only. We stayed in room called Positano which has the windows to the road side with a view of the see to the right and mountains to the left. The road is rather busy but with window and blind closed you can have a good night sleep and air con will keep you cool during hot summer nights.
The room was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. In our room we had a TV, kettle, small fridge, safe and a hair dryer and free WiFi access. We even got an ipad to use during our stay. The iron was available from reception.
When we arrived there was a small bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the room as a welcome gift from the hotel.
The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. They helped us organize our trip to Capri so if you need any help it's worth asking!
The room was cleaned daily and towels changed regularly.
We didn't book breakfast with the hotel but there is plenty of places around where you can eat so that was not a problem.
All in all, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend the Night to our friends and family.

We chose this due to price and location. Having been to Sorrento a few times, we knew how close it was to the centre of town. We were getting a flight that arrived late evening, so we e mailed in advance to say that we would not be there until the evening. This was no problem, we were advised just to call when we got there so we could be let in. We called Max when we arrived at Sorrento station and walked to the hotel. A couple of minutes after getting there Max arrived. The building is an apartment block and this B&B is is up one flight of stairs. There are 4 rooms all named after places around Sorrento. The room was clean with a tablet provided and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was clean with the added feature of changing coloured lights in the shower.

We were hiring a car, and Max gave us a card to get a discount at a car park about 5 mins from the B&B. Breakfast is at a cafe just a couple of doors away, and vouchers are given for this. It is just a pastry and coffee so not substantial, but was enough for us.

When we were leaving, we left our cases there and were allowed to keep the keys to get us back into the building and apartments to collect them when we left.

Overall a great little place close to the centre of town, highly recommended.

It's a classic B&B. It' in a perfect location, close to everything. It was very clean and everything seemed to be new. Cleaning service was provided daily. The room was quiet. Checkin and checkout was very easy and we were given a map with instructions on how to get to the most important locations in Sorrento. The only thing is there isn't a person permanently at the front desk, so you might need to call, but we were lucky. There was airconditioning, although the rooms didn't heat up too much, it was still useful. There is free wifi, and also a tablet (which unfortunately didn't work)
On the down side the room was quite small and there was no balcony, so it's not suitable for people who want to spend time inside the apartment, or do anything else apart from sleeping (like there is no place to eat for example) We didn't spend much time so it was OK. The room was also quite dark, you had to switch on the lights even in broad daylight. The fridge is also quite small so you can only store a few drinks in it. The room is on the 1st floor so easy to get to on the staircase. There is an elevator but you have to pay for it. The breakfast is at a nearby cafe, every day the same thing, a coffee, orange juice and brioche. We didn't eat there every day because it was quite boring.
