Stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a tour group. The hotel itself is part of bigger complex of establishments set in a lovely garden on the Sorrento clifftop. My room was smallish with an inexplicably huge bathroom that contained the smallest shower alcove I have ever encountered. Anyway any negatives in this hotel - slow tiny lift, service... More

We stayed in room #167 which was a large twin room with a comfortable mattress but hard pillows. There's a safe and mini bar in the room but only plastic glasses if you want a drink. The shower is over the bath and there was a good selection of toiletries. Great buffet breakfast. Make sure you take a walk in... More

Stayed here for one night on a tour. Hotel is older and looked like it was in need of a good update including the gardens. The room was small and because of the tile floor didn't feel homely. Beds were fine and breakfast was good.

Excellent hotel and very clean. Our room had a superb view over the bay of Naples. Has read some negative reviews but we were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. It is as other reviews have said a good 15 minute walk into town but it is an easy walk. The taxis in sorrento are a complete rip off and should... More

We had a great family break in Sorrento. We stayed at La Residenza and enjoyed our stay a lot. All the staff; cleaners, pool staff, breakfast staff and reception were very friendly. Chiara on reception was extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and has access to the facilities of its sister hotel Parco dei Principi. It is a 15 min... More

Stayed here for two nights and loved my stay. The rooms could use a little updating, but they they're big and the bed was comfortable what more could you ask. Sadly I had one of the few rooms without a balcony :( so if you can ask for one!! The gardens around the hotel were beautiful and a welcome site... More

This is a ok hotel, the front desk staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and have a nice balcony. You can use the beach at their much more higher end sister hotel on the same grounds but for a fee. It's not so close to the center of town, be prepared for a half hour walk that's not... More

With a 15 minute walk to the centre of town this hotel is perfectly located. The staff friendly, rooms clean and get a room with balcony looking over the garden. The use of the 5* sister hotel pool and facilities is fabulous. We didn't use the private beach which incurred an extra charge, but the pool and sunbathing area was... More
