A friend and I spent two nights at Il Roseto this February and really enjoyed it. The room (we stayed in a room on the upper floor, overlooking the garden) was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated with a beautiful view overlooking the Bay of Naples. The included breakfast is substantial compared to other b&b type places we stayed in Italy...

The room and bathroom were clean and pleasant, the breakfast was lavish, including cheese, meats, cake, croissants, a fruit tart, rolls with jam and honey, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee. Most importantly, the sense of hospitality and welcome by the two families who run the pensione was genuine and unforgettable.

A good tip from the previous reviewer about finding this B&B, I think it shares a driveway with the hotel Girasole. It is slightly nearer to Agnello rail station than to Sorrento station. It is amazingly quiet, despite seeming to be very close to the busy main road into Sorrento. We had a Junior Suite room. The bathroom was downstairs,...

I agree with all the previous reviewers. The B&B is difficult to find:stop at the large sign of the adjoining GIRASOLE Hotel. If you go north, use the Circumvesuviana because of the heavy traffic jams due to tunnel works in Vico Equence that will last till April. Don't miss a sweater on breakfast because the breakfast room is cool.

We stayed at Il Roseto for a couple of nights and were amazed by the wonderful breakfasts. If you wanted to have a nutritious breakfast, with lovely, crusty rolls, hardboiled eggs, good quality yogurt and fresh fruit, all served with wonderful cappuccino, this is the place to stay. Oh, and I must mention the freshly squeezed orange juice, which you'll...

I stayed with my friends for 4 nights in Il Roseto in mid Nov. I got off from the Circumsvesuvia Train S. Agnello station and it took approx. 8 minutes to get there (closer as compared to the Sorrento station). It was a nice and cozy B&B run by a family. The owner and the staff were very helpful in...

After travelling from Rome by car it was like reaching an oasis in a desert to find ourselves in Il Roseto. Just a short walk from the port of Sorrento we appreciated the relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms and beautiful garden. Breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for a busy day of sight seeing. The staff were friendly and...

We stayed at Il Roseto for five nights in September 2010, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious, looking out onto the garden with lots of citrus trees and delightful breakfast area. The breakfast was superb, with a great selection especially enjoyed the homemade cake and fresh orange juice. The Il Roseto staff was very helpful and recommended five restaurants...

I booked on line and we stayed 3 nites/2-1/2 days (Oct 22). We never saw the "lovely garden", but had breakfast each morning in their kitchen/DR which was great. We left after bkfst each morn and were gone all day so we may have missed seeing more of the resort. It IS a hike (20 min) into main area of...
