This hotel has a great location and is good value, However, if you want good food you need to venture away. Any hotel that calls a glass of juice a starter is severely lacking imagination. We left after the main course on the first night and never returned for our half board evening meal. We were not alone. There are...

An ok hotel with an acceptable restaurant.bedrooms nice plesent and airy. Staff fantastic prices ok for a hotel. The Grand mariner is behind a very large cliff so don't expect a lot of sun off season. The hotel is only realistically accessable on foot and some of the excursions want pick up in the grand marina area. Better off up...

Location is everything and this has it in bucket loads. Our balcony looked out over the Bay of Naples towards Vesuvius. In the evenings, the quayside is aglow with lights, as local bistros offer the catch of the day on their menus. Hotel could do with an update - it was looking tired in places. This was more than balanced...

We stayed here as a family of four for a week. We are much more used to self catering holidays so I wasn't sure what to expect. We got a last minute package deal so the holiday wasn't expensive. The hotel staff without exception were helpful, friendly and good humoured. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety on...

Could do with a little work done, bathrooms, carpets, new sofas etc. But the staff are great fun and my son had a great time. Food is ok and the walk up to Sorrento town doesn't take long. We went on one trip with Thompson. , but then did Vesuvius, pompei and Herculaneum on our own.

We loved absolutely everything about this Hotel ---------- The staff are amazing, the location is spectacular, & Sorrento is lively & fascinating. I could write pages to recommend & praise this hotel but ----- what speaks for itself, is the fact that we had only been back for one week before we booked to return again next year --------and that...

Upon arriving at the hotel we found it to be clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was very basic but the beds seemed comfortable. The problems started when we wanted to go to sleep. Having being up since 4:30 am the previous day we tried to go to bed early around 9pm and found out our...

We recently stayed for a week’s holiday at Hotel Admiral booked through Thomson’s Travel Agents in the UK on a half board basis. We were a little late in booking and had to settle for a side room with a partial sea view. As many other reviewers have stated, try to book a front facing room where you will have...

Just back from 10 nights at the Admiral and I can't wait to return. The staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble for them; special thanks to Francesco, looked after us well and has lots of information on the area. The room was really nice with a very comfortable bed and nice view overlooking the sea and Vesuvius, clean towels...

We went to the Admiral for our honeymoon in August 2016. Where does one begin? From a cheerful welcome at reception, we had a great time. The views across the Bay of Naples are singularly fantastic and from our first floor balcony were even better. The rooms are well equipped with plenty of space. The same goes for the bathrooms...
