I stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour. My room was in a building across a driveway. The room was big and had a king sized bed but It was old and tired. The shower rose was clogged with calcium and I got a paper clip from reception and cleared it a bit. The towels were thin and...

Stayed here in September on a coach tour and it was great. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, polite and they made us feel at home. The humour of the majority of the staff was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and the feel of the hotel was intimate not too big .We had a lovely room. I made the rigatoni...

We were part of a group of thirty three, on a sixteen day Italy sight seeing tour. This was our first of five different hotels on our trip. Unfortunately, the other four could not live up to the rooms, service, food, and friendly staff that we received here. We had four days of great dinners and fabulous breakfasts all served...

The hotel is very close to everything you need - buses, trains, shopping, eating. The food is excellent and staff very helpful. Safe in room is free. Cannot comment on the bar or the rooftop patio and swimming pool.

Hotel staff was pleasant, especially wonderful waiter in restaurant. Food was delicious with variety of choices. Room was not too nice, had "marital" beds, and my husband and I were so uncomfortable that he tied both beds together...housekeeping promptly separated the the following day. Shower door did not prevent water from spraying all over bathroom and tub fixtures were in...

Hotel Michelangelo in Sorrento is my favorite place on the Amalfi coast! Every two years I go back with a group of 40 people. Giovanni and the staff is the reason I will always go back to the Michelangeo because the service was always outstanding. They make all all of us feel like we were at grandmother's house every single...

In the middle of Limoncello country stands the Michelangelo. A clean, modern, hotel with a friendly staff. The kitchen is a bit eccentric but the staff does try to be accommodating. It is on the main thoroughfare and, as such, in the midst of a lively night time crowd where throngs gather in the square to celebrate the end of...

An older, small, quaint hotel in central Sorrento. Room are very small, but each has a balcony with a nice city view. Baths are reasonable size but the showers were "very" small. Food in the dining room was good but the service was spotty. The front desk service was poor, as the staff was detached, aloof, and not at all...

Food should be part of the Italy experience. Unfortunately the quality, quantity and presentation of food in this hotel is reminiscent of the stereotyped British food of the 1970's. Meagre ,boring and bland menus, all served with tasteless cornflower sauces with grand sounding names. Pasta dishes had different names every night but were generally the same thing. Don't expect hot...

We stayed here for five days and it was a good experience. Spotlessly clean throughout and the staff was friendly. The food in the restaurant was a little uninspiring, but good enough. The rooms were a good size, well appointed and we had individual outdoor patio areas, which was a bonus. The hotel backs onto the railroad tracks. We were...
