We stayed toward the end of the season (late October) on half-board (breakfast and evening meals included), and overall the hotel was everything we could have expected for the price. In Sorrento you're paying for the location as much as anything (as you probably won't be spending much time in the hotel) and La Meridiana is well positioned, a short... More

the hotel is located about 5-10 mins away from the main piazza in sorrento town meaning its a lovely quiet hotel very little traffic outside, from the outside it looks a little dated but you have to remember this is not a 5 star accomodation its a simple hotel ideal for people who are just looking to sleep and eat,... Our bedroom 421, bathroom and adjacent staircase were affected with fumes which gradually got worse. Having seen reports of holiday makers deaths from fumes on the BBC I was very concerned. We arrived late evening on the 10th of October 2016 for seven nights, the room having a slight smell to it. There were two 24/7 automatic air fresheners, one... More

So let's get this straight this is not a five star hotel, but neither are the prices This is a keenly priced hotel in a great location Our room was a standard no balcony, extremely clean and over looked a neighbouring pool. And a good size. The location is super. No more than 5 minutes at a leisurely pace to... More

My family spent a week at this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient with special mention for Antonio the Maitre d' and Vincento the night porter. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The views from our balconies were breathtaking but the views from the roof terrace were more so looking out over the Bay of Naples.

The hotel was absolutely lovely. Stunning views and comfortable bedrooms. We had a balcony room which overlooked the lemon/orange groves and the coast. It was only a few minutes walk to the town and the train station. I was unsure about sharing a dining table, but we soon made friends with our companions and even went out with them a... More

The Meridiana is not only in an ideal location to enjoy Sorrento but also well situated to explore the Amalfi Coast. A lovely small hotel (45 rooms) in an excellent location. Just a few minutes walk from the train station, town centre, harbour and old town.
