We stayed for 5 nights in October 22. We liked the location of the hotel, it is centrally located in the town, 5 min walk to the train station and walking distance to a great many restaurants. The hotel is very clean, rooms are cleaned and new laundry provided daily. There is a breakfast buffet, continental style. There is no hot food other than one can boil their own eggs, however there is plenty of variety of breads, pastry, yogurt, limited fruits, cold cuts, pastries etc. The item remain the same daily so it may get boring. The reception staff is wonderful and very helpful to your needs. We booked our excursions from the hotel and they all worked out very well, very convenient and perhaps a bit cheaper. Even though the hotel is next to a busy street we did not hear the noise at night and did not affect our sleep. Ouur room was basic but the bathroom with shower was roomy.

This hotel is perfectly situated near Tasso Piazza! Our room faced the street but it was extremely quiet. We didn’t hear any noise. The rooms are well lit and very clean. The staff is very helpful, Novella & Stefano and the others who took care of us were friendly and very accommodating. We needed an early breakfast before we left on our tour and they made sure it was packed in the morning ready to go before the dining room even opened. They gave us fresh cafes too! The cooks and servers really put on a wonderful morning buffet. You will be very happy if you choose to stay here! I highly recommend it! I will be back!

Great location, just off the main street. Helpful staff recommended the O'Parrucchiano Restaurant (they invented the canneloni!) which was the dining highlight of our trip. Our room had a balcony, which was nice. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was filling. Walk to train/bus station in minutes. Rooms aren't huge but certainly comfortable.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and should have left sooner. We stayed in the 4th floor and rented two rooms. The hallway of the fourth floor was very musty and smelled of smoke. The rooms are very small, though not unusual in Europe. Didn’t mind this so much as the dank smell and the showers that did not work for the entire time. Virtually zero water pressure. The rooms are very dated and ill maintained. There is even a note warning guests not to bring food into the rooms to avoid ants! The only bright spot is the location,but would advise you to stay elsewhere. Had this not not been the very end of our trip and the fact we spent very little time in the room, we would have left immediately.

We began this trip with a slight disagreement but ended the trip completely satisfied and extremely happy with the service. The hotel is clean, has a great location, and service was super friendly. In regards to the disagreement on the front end, without us asking for or expecting anything the hotel graciously took care of the issue.

I stayed one night at Hotel Villa Do Sorrento. The stand out for me was the staff. It was a day when all ferries, buses and trains had striked and the receptionist went out of her way calling taxi companies for hours to get me transport to Naples airport.
The hotel itself is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Sorrento. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast was nice. Only downside no shower gel provided.

The staff were really nice, they went out of their way to help from reception to housekeeping. The location is fantastic if you do not have a car as there is nowhere to park in the centre of Sorrento. Rooms were clean every day and the breakfast was of very good standards.

We had a lovely clean room with plenty of space for the three of us, and the nicest bathroom we had in our entire trip!
It's in a good location, close to the train station, main square, and all the shops, without blowing your budget.

A nice hotel in a good location . There is lovely tile work throughout . An easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants , as well as the elevator that takes you down to the ferry to Capri . A good choice at breakfast in a lovely breakfast room . We would definitely return .

Villa Di Sorrento is in the heart of town (Piazza Tasso), and is very convenient to have as your "home base" for shopping, dining and site seeing. There is some noise from the street below and if you like to go out on the town at night, you better be prepared to wake the night desk clerk to enter the building after 12:00. The rooms are very charming, some with balconies. The hotel is very clean. I would go back in a heart beat.

Agree this is a beautiful old palace converted to a hotel - where reception is was once the stables. There is a lovely veranda area where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner or a drink that overlooks the sea and some of the rooms have a terrace (ours had a small terrace) - to the best of my knowledge rooms would only accommodate 1 or 2 people.

No pool there but the sea is beautiful and not that far of a walk. The water is warm in the summer months. I personally would rather go to the beach than a pool. Hope you have a great stay in Sorrento no matter where you stay!
No there isn't a pool. It's about a 10 minute walk to a small beach.
