We very much enjoyed our stay here. We got a balcony (not sea view) room and loved the bright and spacious room. Front desk staff were very nice and provided insights whenever we had questions about Sorrento and the neighboring towns. 10 minute walk from the center of town. Good breakfast options and the restaurant staff are lovely.
Really liked this hotel: got an upgrade to a sea view room, with balcony looking out to Bay of Naples, Vesuvius. Well fitted out, clean, good condition, and they were conscientious about covid precautions which was reassuring. Restaurant was great for dinner, good breakfast too, snacks/drinks also good in main pool (good for swimming) and roof top pool (more for lounging). Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location (for Sorrento!), but still not too far to walk to the centre. Museo de Correale (just round the corner) has interesting and varied classical art and gardens, enjoyed this. Lemon farm opposite has tours, this was also interesting to see some of the 'lemon history'
Stayed here last week during COVID times and felt safe and clean overall. Staff was super friendly and I liked how it was more “old school” and traditional—at breakfast the waiters all wear jackets and rush around taking care of everyone. This was the best breakfast we had on our italy trip throughout our staff. The food offerings were varied and they bring you everything rather than buffet style. Our room was 519 and a bit out of the way (had to take elevator and then some staircases to reach it) and the AC in the room wasn’t working that great (it was working but definitely didn’t get to the temperature we would have liked). Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and there are two pools. One on rooftop and one on ground floor. The rooftop is super sunny and perfect views of the sea and Sorrento. The ground floor pool is much more shaded and not as busy as the roof. Pool Towels were fluffy and plentiful and free to use which was nice as we stayed at another hotel earlier in the week that charged for pool towels. In terms of location it is closer to the ferry to Capri than staying on the other side of town (cab ride was about 15 euros, metered taxi). It’s very walkable to the main area of town but also close to more “local” places than the touristy places on the other end of town. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a more classic hotel environment and would like access to a pool during your stay. Ground floor Pool was pretty deep and good for swimmers. Great sunset views from the rooftop. …
This hotel was amazing! Hotel was beautiful inside. Super clean. We had a sea view that was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so nice and attentive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again my next trip to Sorrento. Was a short walk to the square and the beach. The roof top pool and bar was so fun and had an amazing view! I have no complaints at all about this hotel!
We stayed 8 nights in a deluxe sea view room. Staff are nice and breakfast is good quality. It is a 10 minute walk to centre of Sorrento and the Main Street. The only problem we had was there was ants in the room during the stay. We reported this to reception and they sprayed the room. The situation improved but there was still occasionally ants in the room and they seemed to be around the air con vent and wardrobe.
