It was absolutely awful! This is clearly the most blatantly miss-managed hotel I have ever seen - the owner should be ashamed of himself and the manager should be fired! 1. the building is dated and run down, paint peeling from the walls, appliances ancient and dysfunctional. 2. the phone didn't work; the elevator is so slow it's faster to take the stairs. 3. decor in the building is run down and ugly; in one section of the building they had cheap industrial metal doors with plastic door handles - utterly cheap and tasteless! 4. the rooms are tiny and old; the bath amenities were old and faulty. 5. walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything the neighbours are doing/saying 6. the greedy owner apparently rents out "pool-passes" to people who are not hotel guests, so you have dodgy crowds with portable speakers walking around the hotel and hanging out at the pool The experience was utterly shocking and revolting. Despite having booked for a week, we checked out after 45 minutes and went to a different hotel. it was soooooo bad!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

The hotel is everything you expect from a 4 star on the coast of Sorrento. The executive suite with sea view is absolutely stunning, with the small balconies opening directly on the bay. Decorated with classic taste and very spacious, it offers all the comforts you might expect at the price (it is pricey indeed). The service is on par with the settings, friendly, courteous and effective. There is a good size swimming pool and a private access to a platform on the beach (actual beach front in Sorrento is a rarity) accessible directly via a lift, private to the hotel customers. Breakfast is meets the expectations with variety of baked goods, fruit and continental offers, and it is served on a gorgeous terrace with a stunning sea view . Overall an exceptional choice for a stay in Sorrento

We spent only a little less than two days and two nights in this splendid hotel, but every minute there was superb! We were very lucky, as our room was the most beautiful! As we were on the first floor, our terrace was really large, because it was above the dining hall downstairs. The view of the Gulf of Naples from that terrace was spectacular, the Vesuvius was commanding, even from that distance. We were speechless, imagining Odysseus, tied to the mast of his ship, listening to the song of the irresistible sirens, born from sea foam. Not only had our room a large terrace, but it was on the corner of the building, so it was larger than the other rooms on the first floor. It had a large antechamber, a grandiose bathroom and a huge sleeping room! The furniture, the painting on the wall, the French windows evoked that elegant style from the beginning of the XX.century... However, that is true not only for our room but also for the corridors, the lobby with a lot of carefully chosen items, the dining hall, where we had breakfast! We constantly felt that only Hercule Poirot was missing from the scene... And the staff was - as Italians would describe it - Perfetto! We were so sad when we had to leave and promised to each other: we definitely have to return to this exquisite hotel!

I would like to say that I have never had better or more considerate service than from this lovely hotel. We were unfortunate in that my covid test results were mislaid at the airport and we had to isolate at the hotel for the first three days of our holiday. The staff were so concerned for us and were a great help ensuring that we were well looked after. Francesco and his restaurant staff kept us well fed with lovely food and excellent room service. A special thanks to the smiling waiter who delivered our food to the room and cheered us up. The reception staff were also excellent in helping us. Anyway, after day 3 we were free to enjoy our holiday and appreciate the hotel and surrounding area. The room was large and had a beautiful view with a large terrace (103). The only slight niggle was that there was only one electrical socket for the whole room. The public rooms were grand with a slightly faded charm. The location was great, only 10 minutes walk from both the railway station and the town centre. To reiterate, a great hotel and we are planning to visit again when things calm down!

Recently visited the Europa Palace for a week with the family during the coronavirus outbreak, honestly an amazing holiday and hotel, felt safer in the hotel than back in England. Hand sanitizers we’re located throughout the hotel and public areas cleaned regularly. Staff was very friendly except for one lady behind the main reception who my family thought seemed rude when asked a question to. The hotel itself inside and outside is exceptional with great views of the coast! Food we decided to go half board and it was fantastic food for breakfast and tea time with great option. The restaurant manager and bar staff are very friendly, the only negative was the price for the drinks as realised when the pay emend came in. You’re better off having a bottle of water and then going into the square for a drink afterwards! The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to Tosso Square which is the main square leading to the attractions and bars etc. Overall it was absolutely brilliant, will be missed!
