This was a very nice Hotel. Quiet and away from the noise of the town. The public areas were huge. As for the food it was the best of my tour. The Buffet dinner we had was A buffet. But it had such a huge choice. Breakfast was the normal fare but again better than most other places. The room...

We took a "Best of Europe" tour through Cosmos and this was the hotel we stayed at while in Sorrento. It was an excellent location, up on a hill overlooking the Italian Riviera. There was an in-room safe, air-conditioning and a mini-fridge. There was an ice machine down the hall. Some rooms came with balconies. The hotel had a nice...

We have stayed at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio five times and have never been disappointed. One of the apparent criticisms seems to be that it is out of town and up in the hills. To our mind this is a significant advantage. Sorrento is a lively, bustling town at night but with it goes noise!! the Italians in particular like...

We chose the hotel through Citalia, part of the huge group that Tui own and in typical Tui fashion booking the holiday was a simple, seamless experience; highly efficient. We were taken by the offer of all Inclusive as this was our second holiday this year and we needed to control costs! All inclusive is not what you would normally...

Excellent hotel with spectacular views of the Bay of Naples. Waking up everyday and looking out of the window at Vesuvius was amazing. The pool area is top class with no shortage of beds throughout the day. Its a very clean hotel and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle bus is essential as the taxis are expensive. I would...

Hotel is tired Art Deco but charming. No room service or info in the rooms about the hotel and the day we arrived after a long drive we only had twenty minutes before the pool closed. Temperature was in the 30's and the sun was still shining high on the sky. Desk staff not very helpful. Recommended a tour which...

We stayed for five nights and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very efficient and reception were prompt with check in and check out. We were aware when booking that the location of the hotel was out of town but that the hotel provided a shuttle service into town so had no issue with the location. The shuttle service...

Concierge - Antonio at reception very rude and dismissive he told us check out time was 10am in fact we realised on the the information card it was 11am so had to sit in the lobby waiting for our pick up for an hour and a half. Staff were robotic. Only place we have been in Italy where we had...

We stayed here for four nights and are very glad we chose the Grand Hotel Vesuvio. The view of the bay of Naples was amazing and we loved the pool area. Our bedroom was nice, though a couple more power outlets would've been appreciated! Admittedly the hotel is out of town but we found the shuttle bus service very useful....

We were just in Sorrento and stayed at HOtel Grand Vesuvio. We were very happy with the Jr. Suite with a great view of the Bay of Naples. Pool area was very nice and very clean. Food was average at best..Breakfast buffet, was below par.. Staff were many but too busy talking to each other than serving clients.
