Our €25/d upgrade to a sea view was a very good investment for our 14 day stay in room 339. Think we had one of the best balcony's as large, private and covered so we could use in the rain with magnificent view with morning sun till about 10:00am. The room and bathroom were of adequate size. Comfy Super King...

This hotel commands a beautiful position, overlooking the Bay of Sorrento. I'll start with the positives! The room was large, clean and had more or less everything you require from a hotel room - balcony, hot shower, toiletries, a safe (which was free) and fridge. A tad old fashioned but I prefer to call this Italian rustic! The pool area...

Arrived to scenic Sorrento... with a tour group so expectations not really high....rooms with no view are decorated like a USA Motel 6 , our walls had scuff marks and given a room with double bed and twin ( ok nice extra bed to put our luggage on :-) . We went to this hotel on a package tour at the beginning of September. Very disappointed at the indifference of the staff. The restaurant was like a huge canteen. Food was slammed down at you with no curtesy! Plates, and cutlery were stacked on a trolley beside you. I even saw a lady have to get up from her chair,...

Just back from a fabulous week at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio. At first we were disappointed in not getting a sea view room but we had a lovely quiet room overlooking a fruit farm where we caught the evening sun on our balcony. The rooms are immaculately clean and the maids are lovely. The dining room is vast and you...

Stayed two nights in this spacious hotel. Large room with balcony and views across to Naples and Mt Vesuvious. Breakfast and dinner were included and the quality and quantity of both meals were pleasing. None of the cooked items for breakfast really appealed but the choices of fruit, cereals, pastries etc. were very good. Only downside was there is no...

We spent a very enjoyable week here, best points - restaurant staff very friendly and good food, especially buffet night on Thursdays, courtesy bus very convenient and friendly driver, plenty of sun beds around pool. The reception staff can be a little aloof but don't let that spoil what the hotel has to offer, every night we had a drink...

Stayed here between 30th May and 1st June 2016 with Wife and 15Yr Son. Warmly welcomed and upgraded by the Manager to better room on own. Spacious rooms....with a lovely view of the sea and sorrentine peninsula from the rooms... beautifully manicured gardens on the property, a very large swimming pool, and an enormous breakfast restaurant hall. A highly frequent...

The hotel is full of old fashioned charm, feels very art deco. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the air conditioning was quiet enough to leave on at night. We didn't have any noise issues as mentioned in other posts. The food was great and you feel special having it served to you by waiters in their white...
