This is a lovely hotel situated outside Sorrento overlooking the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. We were greeted by a charming and friendly receptionist and she set the tone for the hotel. All the staff were lovely, especially the bar staff. We had a fantastic holiday and I would recommend the hotel.

This luxury hotel makes even casual travellers like us (no villa, no yacht) feel upper class. The service is efficient and friendly, always, and the hilltop sunset views kicked our vacation into overdrive. Breakfast buffet was the weakest link, but entirely serviceable and the pastries were fine if unremarkable. Everything else about the place was five stars.

This is a pleasant hotel, very well situated, but we did not think that it warranted a 4 Star rating - more a 3 Star. The hotel is situated high up in the mountains and has has beautiful views over the sea. It seems to be an old building, 1930s style, and has obviously once been a Grand Hotel as...

Having just returned from a week at the hotel , it is hard to fault the Aminta. The place is kept spotless, the service is excellent and the staff cannot do enough to ensure that your stay is happy and memorable. They are all smiles and help. The rooms are a little basic & I could nit-pick about the bathroom,...

Someone had recommended this hotel to us as a possible Reception venue after our ceremony at Cloisters. Wow were we impressed! We started the enquiry approx. 12 months ago over email and at the beginning of 2014 we booked the hotel for the reception meal and evening celebration. If anyone is planning to get married in Sorrento then use this...

Have just returned from 14days we stayed in room 317 which overlooked the bus stop although their was traffic we found this not to be a major problem most Hotels are on main roads. The balcony gave us views out to sea Vesuvius as well at the end of the Balcony we overlooked Sorrento so had the evening sunsets as...

The hotel is located high above Sorrento, offering fantastic views of Capri and Vesuvius from room balconies on one side, or the town itself from the other. The outside bar and seating area also look onto Sorrento. Whilst a free shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the town, it can get extremely busy at peak times as the alternative...

We stay at this hotel for 2 nights, it has the most wonderful views of the coast. We arrived at night after a long drive and we were able to quickly relax and enjoy the beautiful views! We had dinner in the restaurant and it was a fantastic meal. Unlike some of the other reviews i thought that the breakfast...

Just got back from this lovely hotel. Amazing location overlooking the Bay of Naples, Sorrento and Vesuvius. Lovely, courteous and friendly staff. Food was pretty good but we really would have liked a better variety of fruit at breakfast. Cleanliness was second to none, spotless. Great to see so much pride taken in the hotel. We could see why people...

I haven't stayed in many hotels in Italy before, but regularly travel across Northern Europe on business staying in many different standards of hotels, so can only compare this one with popular chains such as Ibis, Holiday Inn, Kyriad, Campanile, Hilton etc. The first thing I would say is that the hotel decor is very nice throughout. The staff (with...
