First of all, absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately the management of this hotel is not guest centric. I have a beautiful room with all the amenities. I bought an expensive bottle of wine into my elegant room and the only things to drink it out of was paper cups. When I requested glasses for the room to drink my wine (and my bourbon) I was told they could not bring glasses to my room. The only way I could get glasses was to order room service at my expense. I guess they expected me to keep/hide the glasses when I was done and hopefully keep them for use during the rest of my stay. After my first AND second night I returned to my room at the end of the day to find that they didn’t even replace my used paper cups from the nights before. I had to call the front desk to have them replaced with new paper cups. The dichotomy of it all is when I went down to the restaurant in the early morning to grab a cup of coffee for my room they would not accommodate me because they had no paper cups. I was told that I had to order morning coffee through room service only if I wanted to drink coffee in my room. Again I was told by the very pleasant and probably embarrassed staff that this was a management decision. Am I being a crybaby? A first class hotel that I paid in almost $500 a night for raises expectations that fell far short. Management should be aware that it’s about more than just a beautiful room. It’s about customer service and doing what it takes to make them happy. Providing real glasses for your room and to go cups for morning coffee seems such a simple way make guests happy…
Words can’t truly describe how beautiful the staff are here. Straight vibes. Straight 10’s. Pepe from the pool was so helpful about giving us beer. Marcelo and Emilio were absolute angels and made us feel very comfortable when we felt awful. Jackinio was a Don, he was a major angel and made the best hot chocolate. Emmi was sensational, if we could bring her home we would!! Luigi from concierge was an Italian dream. Rossini was an Italian Stalin’s and expert cocktail maker, he made us feel right at home!!! Alberto was a prince of the night and super cute! Everyone and the help desk were also so helpful we just didn’t get their names cause we were so distraught handing over the money but it was all so worth it. Stay here or else don’t go on holidays!
Tramontano hotel is very nice and lives up to all my expectations. There is an old time charm about the hotel that I really like, make sure to book a room with an Ocean view, and eat in the belvedere restaurant overlooking the Bay and Mount Vesuvius. Go to the beach below the water nice and clean, the one to the right is children free.
I had a problem in the beginning of my stay because of my dogs .They impressed me. I wrote a bad review 3 days ago. This is a 5 stars hotel regarding service , staff , concierge , parking , all hotel staff. This hotel has better service than Ritz London , Plaza Ny , etc . 5 stars to all services and staff . Just need renovation in the rooms . Great location
It’s only taken 20 years, but we’ve managed to get back. What a lovely old style hotel. Perfectly situated with great gardens, smashing pool and stunning views. A room with a sea view is a must. It’s the staff that that really stand out. Proper southern Italian hospitality. Top quality restaurant and pool bar/food too. Just book it. You’ll not be disappointed.
