This was the best hotel in our Italian tour. The architecture is unmatched. Perfect luxury service with very friendly staff. Our room was the Roccia Suite and we were blown away. Talk about luxury and amenities. Many things to do with pool, restaurants, beach (sea) access, balconies with amazing views and food for breakfast that was just the best. Location is also great and can't recommend this property enough.
Amazing hotel in every way, including quality of rooms, common areas, and level of service. Pros: - Level of service exceeds any hotel I have stayed in. The staff acts like you are their only guest, and they seem to know everything about what you are doing, your reservations, activities, etc. - Concierge was exceptionally helpful before I arrived in setting up transportation, restaurant reservations, and tours - Rooms are beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable - Location on the waterfront provides breathtaking views from rooms, both restaurants, and common areas - Breakfast is free but also exceptional, including wide variety and high quality of made to order eggs, selection of meats, pastries, juices. etc. - Beach area is really a pier, but great lounge chairs, towel service, and access to private swimming area - Gym has brand new treadmill, bike, and rower, as well as some free weights Can be improved: - Upon arrival at 10AM from a long flight from US, we wait to wait until 2 PM for our rooms to be ready. Can the hotel anticipate which guests have extensive travels and prioritize housekeeping servicing their rooms so they are ready at or close to arrival? The four hour wait was no fun. - Because of COVID restrictions, only one person (or family) could use the gym at the same time, thus requiring the gym to be reserved in advance. The hotel management, in what can only be called an unimaginable lapse of judgement, decided that it was OK to allow guests full unlimited reservation capability. The week of my stay, two guests who arrived before we did reserved the gym every single day from the peak hours of 6 AM - 9 AM (which given the activities in Sorrento is when you would want to use it). Would a policy which provided more equal access to all guests be more appropriate? Next time I come I will call a month ahead of time and reserve the gym for four hours each morning.... - Restaurant dinner was expensive and not up to the quality you would expect for a first tier establishment. Bottom line: loved the hotel and the staff, would absolutely stay again, but would adjust and plan to account for some of the issues above.…
We stayed in the Lord Aster suite and it was absolutely impeccable. I could not recommend this hotel enough - we didn't want to leave! The service, room itself, views, food, bed, shower, hot tub was incredible. Would do anything to go back and do it all again!
The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. As soon as we arrived they swiftly valeted our car and took our luggage so we could enjoy our warm welcome and introduction to the hotel amenities. The beverages and lite bites that are offered daily in the lobby and perfect refreshers when you enter and exit the hotel. The views of course are stunning from everywhere! The breakfast was fabulous with a wide selection of offerings; we particularly enjoyed the freshly pressed organs juice that’s a fun DIY experience for adults and kids. We regret not dining at the restaurant, but we booked our stay just the day before and didn’t think to request dinner reservations until it was already full. But we enjoyed apperitivo on the lower deck with was spectacular. The private beach dock was perfection and so convenient. Hotel Bellevue and it’s staff certainly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return again with friends!…
Room was beautifully appointed with a sea view and beds are so comfortable you can sleep in soundly. You may not want to with the sea beckoning every day for a morning swim, and great beach service. Francesco was the best concierge I have ever worked with, providing great restaurant reservation suggestions, help with transportation, and overall a kind approach to all his guests. We stayed 2 extra nights, and they were able to shuffle things around for us to keep our room. By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! I can't think of one thing they could do better. The staff is kind, knowledge, and all of them work so hard to make you feel good. Thank you Bellevue Syrene, we will be back to enjoy again.
We spent 4 days in Sorrento and couldn’t have been happier with this hotel. Our flight was delayed 12 hours so we got in close to midnight quite exhausted after 28 hrs of traveling and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The hotel has lots of charm and is in a good location overlooking the sea. We stayed in a deluxe sea view room with balcony that was fine. The bathroom was large. What is really driving my review though is the fabulous staff. They knew my name from the start. Everyone was extremely accommodating. We wanted to book a boat trip around Capri that took the concierge a good bit of time ( thank you so much Fransisco for your attention).
What a delight and pleasure to spend a week in this glorious and stunning hotel. Everything about it was perfect. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and cool in a typical Italian style decor, we were lucky enough to to have a small sea facing balcony which was a lovely feature to our stay.Loved that your room was cleaned twice a day with fresh towels (something a lot of hotels no longer do). Breakfast on the lower terrace was a treat each day with plenty of wonderful food to choose from to satisfy all palates. Loved the club that supplied delicious snacks and drinks that you could help yourself to from morning to evening (such a lovely touch). We had dinner on the terrace twice in the hotel. The views are spectacular along with incredible food, superb service and the most accomplished lady piano player, this was a treat and a pleasure in every way. The small pool area is pretty and so peaceful, we spent the mornings there (practically to ourselves as no one seemed to use it) then headed down to the private beach club for the afternoons, where the sea is warm and sea life a sight to behold. All the staff in the hotel are so helpful friendly and polite. We had looked forward to this trip since we had to cancel due to personal reasons last year, but it was so worth the wait, A perfect week spent here in every way. Thank you beautiful Bellevue Syrene.…
If I could provide more stars I would!! The staff were amazing and very accommodating to our needs. Me and my now fiancée had a very special dinner here for our last night in Sorrento, we had it in the La Pergola part of the restaurant. I had contacted them week before to inform them on my plans to propose to my partner and they exceeded all my expectations as they went above and beyond what I had asked of them. A big shout out to Francesco who had made these arrangements possible. 110% would recommend coming here as the food is to die for and the views are breathtaking!!
A truly beautiful hotel. We stayed three nights at a very busy time in mid June. This hotel is full of personality. Rooms are well appointed with amazing views. Reception rooms are delightful and the ability to get a complimentary snack and drink all day and evening was great. Breakfast was fabulous with wide choices. Our favourite spot was the terrace for drinks or lunch - just the most beautiful spot. However, ultimately what made it so perfect was the staff every single member of this team is there to make sure you have a great stay. We would love to return.
We were lucky enough to have dinner at the restaurant during our vacation in Sorrento. Everything from the food, staff and service was impeccable! We had scallops, sea bass, ravioli and risotto fruta di mare and loved it ALL! The dessert/coffee/limoncello was also exceptional. Each plate was a true work of art. We could tell that the staff took such pride in their work and the experience for patrons. We can not wait to go back next time. Grazie mille!
