I think the standard of this place should be compared to a b&b rather than that of a hotel. Seeing the room it reminded me of when I visited my grandmother in Malaysia. The wooden furniture were old and the toilet simple. The aircon, fan, hot water worked fine, a safe was included as well. Mineral bottles of water were...

Our family of five reserved 2 joining rooms. It's in a perfect location, next to the train station, the beach, and the main shopping area. The decor was outdated, but the rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a mini refrigerator that was stocked with drinks and snacks. They served a continental breakfast that was...

Everything about the Plaza hotel is better than it looks. It is very conveniently located for the train station and the port which were our main means of transport. It is a little bit of a walk to the old town but it is a nice walk along the front. Service is welcoming and reception is efficient. At first glance...

Good clean place for stopover - very convenient location. Asked for quiet room and it was (apart from bedroom doors reverberating and lift noise). Modern clean functional decor. If you need to leave before 7 am you will not get breakfast. All as expected. Single bed, WiFi (which kept needing reconnecting,) minibar, air-conditioning, fan, safe.

Our stay was just overnight to catch a train to Taranto the following day. The location was perfect as it is just across the street from the station. The street that the hotel is located on is a great area with shops and restaurants. The room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was good, although we we not offered...

The hotel is located very close to the train station which is ideal. I stayed in the triple room which was quite spacious, everything in the room was very nice. Grocery shop is located around the corner, so getting large bottles of water is very easy. It is located a short walk (3 mins) away from the port. Restaurants are...

If you arrive by boat from Amalfi you walk straight to the train station and this nice hotel. Next morning you step on the train and this is really as convenient as can be. The hotel has simple and dated rooms but they are clean and the breakfast is quite good especially considering the price.

My wife and I have been traveling in Greece, Malta and Italy for several weeks on a retirement journey. Stopping in Salerno was a last minute decision for us, as we decided to leave Sicily a day early on our way to Amalfi. We were tired after a 9 hour train journey so we decided to spend the night in...

This was a very convenient hotel for our recent train holiday, exploring the Amalfi coast for a few days. The room was basic but fine with a splendid view over the square. We did not find it noisy.Good Italian buffet breakfast served in a very pleasant room. You need to watch your diet to use the lift! We found it...

My husband and I stayed here recently. It is a solid two-star hotel. It is quite dated and the front desk staff only speak English at their convenience. There was a lot of mold/mildew in the shower. And then one morning we suddenly had no running water in our room with no prior notice (=cannot use the shower, toilet, or...
