Travellers' Choice
Villa Annalara is located on a steep rock, "la Villa", suspended between the mountains and the sea, in the historical center, in a particularly suggestive position. Ideal place where you can revitalize your body and soul, offers relax and strong emotions. The lift will lead our customers on a big terrace, nestled in the green landscape made of lemon trees and age-old plants, surrounded by bougainvilleas, rhododendrons and geraniums. It is like a window on the charming panorama of Amalfi.

The location of this hotel is perfect, it's set just a couple blocks from the main action of town and nestled on a quiet hill with a great view. The employees and management were the best part, they went above & beyond to give us extra-special service - recommending a great hike, helping us with taxi arrangements and even a complementary upgrade. Breakfast was delicious and on the patio, so special and peaceful! highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Villa Annalara during our visit to the Amalfi Coast. The hotel sits very high on a hill which affords amazing views of the town and coastline below as well as the surrounding mountains (see photos). Our room was comfortable and well maintained. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A great benefit is the elevator that takes you up to this hotel. Be aware that it is a bit of a hike from the coastline up to the hotel's elevator - not terrible, but definitely up hill. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful four night stay in a beautiful room over looking the breakfast balcony so we could sit outside and read at any time. Breakfast was great with many options and a possibility to eat on the outside terrace was amazing! What a breathtaking views in the distance!! From the villa we were able to go for some great long walks one way and down into the town center the other. I would definitely recommend staying here and would come back again

Lovely old Italian hilltop hotel, clean and beautiful views of the town and the sea. Had a great mini stay with teenage family, staff so friendly and helpful. Slight thing to watch out for is not all taxis will go to hotel through small packed streets so may have to take luggage up hill about 500m or like we did pay extra for a luggage buggy to take you there. Would stay again!

Stayed here for a week with two friends. We had a comfortable room for three, with a mountain view. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and privacy from the busy walking street above. Breakfast was great with many options and a possibility to eat on the outside terrace was amazing! What a breathtaking views! We had a car for few days, which can be tricky in Amalfi ( parking is expensive in most of the cities and the distances are short) next time we will invest into a nice boat trip instead! Hotel co operated with a parking service ( 20€ per day) which was really easy and safe. Parking Gorga guys were amazing and helpful! If you're uncomfortable with driving on narrow streets, dont come with a car since the path to the hotel goes through a walking street 😅
