We took the local bus in to the heart of Amalfi. Our hotel was an awful walk as we back-tracked uphill on a skinny road. Amalfi itself is a smaller town. Recommend a day trip to visit instead of overnight. Our hotel was good. There was a roof-top patio that could hold over 20 people. Breakfast was really good. They...

We recently stayed at hotel and we were sadly disappointed. Bring extra euro for taxi and bus because their shuttle service is very limited and only holds 6 people per trip. Hotel was not helpful never mentioned use of a pool, and doesn't have food throughout the day so you are stranded. Two staff members were delightful and helpful others...

We had to change rooms because our first room had bed bugs. They were a lot, on the pillows, mattress, and walls. I captured some photos of the ones in the pillows. We had to show the staff the problem to move us to a different room immediately. They were reluctant at first. It wasn't very comforting staying there after...

Our extended family stayed for close to a week in the Villa (Rooms 800 to 803), close to 100 steps down from the road. (It was a poor choice given the disability of my mother-in-law!). The terraced gardens were beautiful and the ocean view spectacular. The villa was a bit dated and run-down, but clean. Large common room and balconies...

This must have been a magnificent hotel in it's day.It has a beautiful foyer and breakfast room, great terrace and wonderful views from the sea facing rooms. The rooms were spotless, but dated. The exterior needs work. However,we found the friendliness and service from the staff to be excellent. We were shuttled to restaurants, at no cost ,on both evenings.A valet service was provided for parking...

Invisible Air Conditioned, you can't offer a room with this service and later find a machine from 80's, making an horrible noise and not going! 700€ for 5 days in a room without air conditioned, how we can describe these? An scam! It's all a lie, only beautiful is the reception and the views to the sea (if you paid...

Stayed 2 nights in villa. Great A/C, good breakfast. Shuttle into Amalfi and made special trips not on schedule, or bus would stop in front of hotel for 1,5€. Don't take cab for 15€! Wifi only in lobby, not very reliable. Otherwise great for €!

If you want Italian life this is the place to stay! The family and staff were brilliant with our party of seven.the building is tired but sooo clean! The hotel is a walk away from town but the shuttle and Sita bus service worked well. The views are spectacular.

It’s a great location looking out over the ocean and along the coast, but it is up the hill from the town, so a solid 15 minute walk - all up hill on the way back! The walk is along the road for most of the way - very narrow or non-existent pavements. We paid €70 per night on our...

We found this hotel satisfactory overall. The staff were friendly and the place sure had character! There was a pet parrot that lived in the lobby! Breakfast was good. The walk into Amalfi town was a bit nerve racking for me as the there are no sidewalks and the road into town is busy and narrow! After a few days...
