We had the opportunity to visit Monodendri and Zagori Philoxenia this September 2016. Hotel itself is excellent with large and clean rooms, very comfortable for our family. The breakfast was perfect and our best activity just to relax in lounge drinking coffee and playing games with children. The place is fantastic and offers family's or friends' vacations. From Monodendri you...

We've just come back from our second stay in this delightful hotel. Dennis and his parents are very friendly and helpful; their local knowledge is excellent and they made some great suggestions as to places to visit and restaurants to try. The village makes a good base from which to explore the region, especially the amazing Vikos Gorge. Be sure...

This family run hotel is a terrific base from which to explore the region known as Zagorochoria. (42 villages, all spectacular, quaint, something from a fairy tale, along with the world-renowned Vikos Gorge) We had a lovely spacious room with a king bed (though I must say most Greek mattresses are too firm for my tastes!). The breakfast was a...

Pros - Well designed hotel. Spacious rooms. Good shower. Great landscape from some rooms and very good breakfast. Beds' mattress are stiff and comfortable. Friendly staff. Cons - Wifi not available in the rooms, but only in the lobby. In the lobby the wifi is strong.

This hotel caters to snow bunnies in the winter (high season) and to hikers in low season. Our room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and fantastic view over Vikos Gorge. The internet was not available in our room, which gave us a nice break from technology. The buffet breakfast was lovely, with lots of choices and good filtered coffee...

Small and simple hotel at the entrance of Monodendri. The owner's family is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are quite large and functional, offering all needed amenities. The ones towards the main street are noisy though (till midnight and starting with early hikers after 7am). Breakfast is not what I'd expect in this region (having been in other hotels already),...

The hotel is located just at the entrance of Monodendri. The rooms are very nice and well equipped in the traditional house. The owners are extremly nice from arrival until we left. Preparred a very delicious breakfast with mostly homemade things. They know a lot from the wonderful Zaogorin area and are helpfull to share any information.

We stayed there for five nights in July. The room was clean and very spacious with a great view of the valley. Breakfast was great particularly the yogurt and the fried cheese bread. The innkeeper was very helpful. He will pick you up at the end of a long hike if you do not want to walk back. He also...

Breakfast was ok and the owner was very friendly and helped us plan the trip. monodendri is a very small village and the restaurant near the hotel is very nice . Wifi is not working in...

When I arrived, I was initially disgruntled because we were told we're not allowed to use the air conditioning and that we have to go down to the lobby to use the wifi. Apparently, the AC was not allowed because it's cool outside. This turned out to be true. However, we were offered a 'ventilator' (not sure what that is)...
