The E Hotel in Reggio Calabria is a jewel set among some very poor surroundings. You can see the hotel's sign from the road but getting to it requires some searching and tricky driving. However, it is worth the effort because this is a modern hotel only 5 or 6 years old. Tanya was the very nice young lady at... More

I'll be honest, Reggio Calabria is not exactly a city with great tourism structure. As it's normal in many smaller cities in europe, folks are usually scared to speak english or talk to tourists, but it's just their way to be. Hotels in such areas tend to be overly flamboyant in decor or just plain old. But this is not... More

I spent two weeks at the E Hotel - may 25-June 9, 2013. The hotel is tough to find as it sits below street level, but cabbies are familiar with it if coming from the airport (10 min ride). The hotel has a full restaurant with excellent seafood specials every night (fresh swordfish, octopus, clams, etc), excellent pasta, the fresh... More

We found this hotel very difficult to find. We had four nights here, including New Years Eve celebrations. Very comfortable room, some reception staff were frendly and accommodating. New Year's Eve Dinner was great. Meal in the restaurant after that was very poor and expensive; breakfast, meagre so made sure we ate out after that. Just came away feeling a... More

Wonderful location on the seaside, I arrived late but was welcomed by very accommodating staff. My room was extremely clean, even though the towels were left by the last client, and the hotel was so embarrassed they immediately changed my room, with an upgrade. I ordered breakfast in room (Euro 5) which was immediately offered for free after the mistake... More

The hotel is quite new and in a very good status, and I think it is ideal for families or couples. Rooms were extremely clean (bathroom included) and the service was efficient. The view is very nice (the "stretto di Messina" and Sicily are visible) and the roof garden offers the possibility of taking nice pictures. The Breakfast was complete... More
