—> This hotel has no English-language TV channels <— We chose this hotel partly because of the hotel.com rating. It’s close to train station. Our room was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. The front deck person helped us and was pleasant. But “fabulous?“ If you need WiFi be sure it works. In our first room it didn’t. Our room was cramped; with a large unneeded amoire taking up a lot of space. We couldn’t get the safe to work. We had one straight-back chair for two people and the bottom shelf of the desk was low it was impossible to get my legs under the desk. The hotel provides a shampoo dispenser — except it’s mounted on the other side of the sink several feet away from the shower. We’ve stayed in 14 hotels on this trip and there’s no contest that this breakfast ranks #14 out of #14. The hours are 7-10. We arrived at 9:15. Nothing hot (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.). We weren’t sure how to share one egg. Two slices of cold ham with only slices of white toasting bread wasn’t exactly a full breakfast. There was also an empty container that used to keep who knows what fresh. At least yogurt and cereals were available. The person taking care of breakfast seemed busy talking with other hotel staff in the lobby and never did greet us, ask if we needed anything (like food) — or replenish the empty We paid in advance assuming we would receive value. This place may be “fabulous,” but our money could have been spent better elsewhere.

Hotel Alba is a nice small hotel that is located within walking distance of most of the things you will want to do in Pescara. We paid roughly 60 euros per night for a small bedroom with an adequate bathroom. This is pretty much a no thrills kind of hotel, just the basics. But the people who run it are very nice and helpful. There is a free breakfast that is included. I think the Hotel Alba is a really good value for what you are paying.

I’m an Italian living abroad since almost 7 years. The hotel was nice and clean, same thing with our room, but both of the receptionist which I spoke with, they was extremely rude, with such a bad attitude and poor customer service. Really disappointed, specially because asking them explanations about services and prices, they literally say to me I was bothering them. A customer which PAY for a room should never bother them. I would never go back in that hotel and I will never recommend to someone.

Dear Mrs Valeria, we never had any requests for prices and services from you, as it is our concern for any further bookings. We of the staff are always at the service of the customers, of their needs, of their requests always within the limits of the compatibility of the structure. Best regards, Hotel Alba

We've been going to this hotel for short stays over many years, always clean and tidy. Very near all the hot places in Pescara and very near the train station. Staff friendly and very helpful. Short walk to the beach.

A lovely two night stay at this charming hotel - I had a lovely suite with a bedroom and sitting room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious - I felt truly spoilt. The staff were attentive and charming.
