Detailed Reviews
I booked this hotel for a number of reasons, the price, the pool/balcony and the fact that looked somewhere between the old town and beach and close to the science museum etc. I very nearly changed hotels a few days before arriving due to quite a few negative reviews but i’m glad I didn’t.
Rooms
The room and bathroom were large clean and comfortable with a hairdryer,, toiletries (a robe and slippers) and a kettle and fridge, there was (limited) tea and coffee provided- it wasn’t always refreshed so we bought some from the supermarket across the road
The balcony had morning sun and we were on 5th floor so never heard any road noise. Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned every day and sheets changed every couple of days.
Location
Very handy for the science museum but was a fair walk to the cathedral /old town area, we discovered could walk through the park to the old town (where there science museum etc is) so was a much nicer walk than just along the roads into the city.
However there is a bicycle stand outside the hotel where can rent bikes (boris style if any familiar with London) you pay a set fee (£3.99 a day or £13 for upto 7 days) and then are free for 30 min or € per hr after. It was so convenient to use these to go into town/to the beach basically everywhere as is flat and lots of cycle lanes so very safe, you can dock them wherever see a docking station and then pick one up later (lots of stations around the city)
There are a few bars and restaurants near the hotel but very local style with snack type menus so
limited to what can get, but obviously loads places to eat in the city or across the other side of the park there’s more shops and restaurants and a shopping centre with a food hall
Facilities
Never used the restaurant and didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on food/ drink but the pool area was good with plenty of sunbeds and pool open 11-7 every day. You get s free pool towel each per stay - just ask at reception
Enjoyed our stay, glad we didn’t change hotels, and would stay again if returned to Valencia

Small standard room with small balcony with two hard chairs to sit on overlooking the city but dominated by the car park opposite! bed was comfortable but the air con too fierce and I spent the night shivering as the only bedding was a sheet! in the morning when I mentioned this the receptionist said I could have asked for a blanket not sure if it was free or if there was a hire charge as there was for a kettle!! there was a mini fridge in the room.
Breakfast was in two sittings, plenty of items in the help yourself with a separate serving area for prepared hot/cold food.
I would probably have stayed elsewhere had it not been close to where we were going that evening. Having said that we are booked to stay again as we have the same evening venue booked later this month!
No time to enjoy the pool, fairly long walk to the shopping area. There are a few restaurants close by nothing very special, we had lunch in one bit like a Spanish greasy spoon but friendly.

We stayed here first week of July. A really Lovely hotel with a big pool. Great air con in rooms. Please be aware in advance that the pool opens for hotel guests each day from 11.00 to 19:00. Breakfast was outstanding each day with a fabulous and we variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Please be aware breakfast ends and access to the breakfast food and drink areas stops at exactly 10.30 each morning. All Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel bar on ground floor air con does drinks, cocktails and hot food (fabulous classic burger) each evening. Check on arrival for hotel bar times. Hotel is approx 2 Km from town centre but the pool alone is worth the distance. regular number 35 bus leaves from pharmacy across from hotel every 10 to 15 mins or so 1.50 (cash only no cards) per person each way. Taxis to town centre or to the far side of el carmen cost no more than 8 or 9 euro. Also 8 or 9 euro for taxi from outside hotel to the beach. Air con Taxi direct from hotel to airport (order at reception) is 23 to 24 euro. Overall we had a really lovely and enjoyable stay at hotel medium Valencia and we highly recommend this hotel as a base for a Valencia visit.

We had a chance to stay at this place for a couple of days while on a touristic voyage to Valencia. The hotel is clean, and hygienic, with spacious rooms. It has a restaurant on the 1st floor and the breakfast served is quite good with an ample menu spread. There is a gym, and a pool. The best part is the location is convenient for covering the beaches as well as historical buildings. Bicycles are an excellent means of exploring Valencia and Hotel rents out bicycles at an exorbitant rate of Euro 13 per day. There are no rates of half a day. One can get a cheaper bicycle from the market.

This is our second year in row visiting Valencia, first time at Hotel Medium. We will definitely stay here again.
We booked a triple room which was pool facing with a double balcony. This is perfect in the evening for getting sun if you are not down by the pool.
The room is essentially a double room with a seperate sitting room which was where the sofa pull out bed was located.
Two TVs in the room but I don’t think we turned on either of them. Rooms freshened up daily, beds made, fresh towels. Mini bar in room with chargeable drinks, snacks etc. We emptied out the contents and refilled with our own purchases from the supermarket.
Nespresso coffee machine in room, original size pods (small ones) - we brought our own Nespresso pods. Hotel supply two pods at the start and re top up by two daily. Not the best coffee from the hotel but personal choice.
Bathroom has toothbrush kits just in case you forget your own.
Welcome bottles of water supplied.
Air con is very good and is needed as the family room is south facing.
Pool is the main reason we booked this hotel. It’s a good size but seems to be shared with the public as well. Pool not open to residents until 11am. Locals, mainly young kids used it in the morning Life guard on duty and they patrol the area for any misbehaving. Pool towels supplied at the start by hotel. €2 per towel if you wish to repair them with fresh ones. Small charge but should be included in stay, in my opinion.
Couple of tennis courts beside the pool as well.
Never had breakfast at hotel as ate out every morning. Wife is Celiac and plenty of good eateries in the area that are fully GF.
Had some drinks at the pool bar and snacks during the day. Does the job, nothing special.
Metro line two blocks up the street will bring you to city centre in less than 10 mins.
All in all a solid hotel with a good main pool and a smaller paddling pool for kids.

The hotel as a whole is dated and old inside, but you couldn't tell when making reservations since the photos on the booking site show the 'renovated' pool and lounge area. My room was on the 8th floor and was smelly and terribly dirty. There were many short hairs everywhere in the bathroom from a previous guest, the curtains were stained and the inside of the minibar simply disgusting. My room was too small as was the bathroom. The shower stall was so tiny I couldn't shower properly (and I am an average/small size female). The TV was ridiculously small and the programming was all in Spanish (no other languages offered). There was no soundproofing so I heard the baby next door cry as if s/he were in my room. I paid more than 100€ per night so it was terribly overpriced. The only good thing is the location since it was about a 12 minute walk to the Center of Arts and Sciences.

Hotel Medium Valencia.
This is a hotel for a perfect stay, if you want to spend time in Valencia. It is a few minutes walk from the arts and science complex, which can be seen from the hotel restaurant window and Trulia park.
The breakfast is a must, it is varied and fresh. The hot food is hot and the cold food is cold. The dining area is bright and clean.
Our room was had a seating area as well as the bedroom, with a large balcony across both areas looking towards the hills and tennis courts. We only caught the ending of the sunset, but, it looked beautiful from our balcony.
The room was clean, it had a tea station with kettle and the room was full of complementary toiletries even a toothbrush.
The location is a place where you need to look beyond the surface area because they are some amazing restaurants in walking distance. Rufraza and it's market is only 3 stops on the no. 35 bus from outside the hotel. This bus also runs from Valencia Nort station.
I would like to mention Regina for her help.
We plan to return

Lovely Hotel. All the staff were so helpful The pool is big and not cold, so a real plus. The breakfasts offered daily are plentiful. Whilst not city centre location, you can walk easily to the shops and is very close to Ciudad de la Artes. We loved it.

We were staying at the hotel for four nights. The room was nice and clean and the airco etc. was working well. We did have to ask for a blanket for me because the air was pretty cold at some point during the night and it was not distributed that evenly in the room. The main thing which bottered us, was that the pool is closed for hotelguests between 1 and 4 PM. They use it for school kids that had a tennis camp. We did not know this when we booked it and we were really dissapointed since we acutally booked the hotel because of the pool. The bar and restaurant where not available at night and the food in the afternoon was very limited. Next to this it was very noise. You could hear absolutly everything from the other rooms. Staff was nice but not overly friendly but there was no reason to complain.

Location poor. 30 min brisk walk to city 40-45 to beach. (15 to oceanarium). Needs updating. Initially offered double OR twin, selected double as with hubby. Room was tiny….. procrastinated a while and told reception we’d like to see twin if larger. Twin was twice the size, with additional sofa bed, huge bathroom, 2 TVs (if you want to watch Spanish tv). Huge balcony. We decided sleeping in separate bed was not so bad after all 😂
Rooms bland and lacking basics like Kettle/coffee machine, iron. Beds very comfy. Toiletries supplied, hairdryer is the slowest ever manufactured.
Breakfast is buffet but limited selection. Scrabbled eggs, bacon and mini frankfurters. Pastries and yogurt. White bread to toast.
Breakfast room looks like cheap cafe, no frills, basic.
Bar area in reception is also a restaurant…… didn’t use as looks in inviting.
Distance to city and beach/harbour was lot further than anticipated but ensured we got our steps in …. Averaged 25,000 daily!
Regret not booking room in the city but hindsight is great.

No, I don't think it is .
Approximately 1/2 mile.
Hi - we just jumped straight into a taxi, however it was about 22 euros which I felt was a little expensive as the journey was only about 15-20 minutes!!! Just couldn't be bothered with public transport.
I dont think i saw any tennis courts at this location. So i am unable to answer this question.
