Hotel Valencia Center is frequently commended for its prime location, offering easy access to both the beach and old town, which many travelers find convenient. The rooms are widely regarded as clean and comfortable, but critiques have emerged regarding the lack of certain amenities such as tea/coffee-making facilities. While the hotel's amenities, including breakfast, are generally satisfactory, guests have reported mixed experiences with service. Cleanliness is a strong suit, with daily maintenance earning high marks. However, opinions on value and room updates are divided, suggesting some areas could benefit from enhancement.

We spent a night here, paying less than €60 for one night, choosing it because it is accessible from the motorway and offered paid parking in a garage. When we arrived there was a parking space right next to the hotel so no need to pay for the garage. The receptionist was charming and allowed us an early check in to our room on the tenth floor which was spacious, well equipped and modern, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Right outside the hotel is a bus to Valencia centre (€1.50) or you can walk in around forty minutes. The same bus will also take you to the beach. The hotel is a short stroll from the amazing City of Arts and Sciences. We didn’t eat at the hotel but there is a supermarket close by as well as several restaurants. Highly recommended!

Came back to Valencia with my daughter after the Christmas holiday as she has placement there through university. I booked into the Valencia Hotel with my partner for 4 nights. and have to say apart from excellent value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless with no complaints and also the room was cleaned nearly every day with clean linen and towels. It was my birthday yesterday and after spending the day in Town, when I got back to my room the cleaners must have seen my birthday cards and let reception know, and they left a lovely note wishing me a happy birthday and a tray of cakes and fruit on the bed. Also there is good bus routes outside which takes you to the beach or the Town center in 10-15 min. I would definitely recommend this hotel if your planning to stay in Valencia, and I am booking it again in a few weeks time when I visit my daughter.

We stayed here 5 days and it was perfect! Thank you very much to all staff, they were friendly and helpful especially the two girls Tamara and Helene who served our dinner.
The room was equipped everything we needed. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom included everything if you travel light. There was safe in the room at no extra cost. Bed was huge and comfortable completed with comfy pillows!
There was minibar/fridge in the room also room service was provided upon request. Air conditioner was not noisy and efficient. Room window opened to a nice, park with bird song.
The buffet breakfast was served on the first floor with wide variety of fresh, tasty food and drink.
In the ground floor bar you can have drink, order room service and we had our fantastic dinner there for 4 nights. The set menu was varied, they served authentic Spanish dishes as well e.g. paella.
The hotel has a rooftop pool / sauna and gym with nice view. Also there are lavatories next to the sauna (separate male and female) that can be used if you already checked out from the room but your transfer is at evening.

All over I can say only positive thoughts about Hotel Valencia Center. I will recommend to my friends and everyone and we will definitely return.

We booked a double room in this 4 star Hotel and on notes we wrote we were in anniversary, when arrived we got assigned a room with two separated beds, we asked for a room with kind size bed but as was late, it was not available. The night staff told us to ask next morning, so we did and the receptionist asked the cleaning Staff who reconfirmed they would prepare it when cleaning the room. When we came back late in the afternoon, the bed mattress was the same, we called reception again and their answer was "it was not possible to change the sheets because the Hotel was ran off of king size sheets" I would not expect such an answer from a 4 star hotel. At our last night we got our bed sheets changed to king size ones but they were a bit smelly and with some long red hairs on bottom side. We had to ask for extra towels because we did not have face or bidet ones. We also asked for slippers and courtesy set because they were not there on arrival. We request some bathrobes but was told "they are only for Junior Suites", I actually wanted to pay for them but was apparently not possible. The TV control remote did not work through our stay. The Sauna is a nightmare.

We got a message of excuses from reception for all the inconveniences with a bottle of mineral water and 4 biscuits (the same from the breakfast area). This way of excuse just disappointed me much more. Just the message would have been enough, if you do not want to spend for customers or in case you like to offer something, a card for a drink in your own bar would have been better. Day reception staff could not handle this situation in general in my opinion.

Breakfast staff and breakfast menu was delicious (a 10 on this) I would consider coming back to your hotel only for them.
Night porter Angel was really nice and gave us lots of tips to visit the city. Hotel position is really great to visit Valencia.

Dear 19santiAgo92, First of all I want to thank you for choosing us during your stay in Valencia and for this review. Your suggestions are very important to us and we will make any effort to continue to take them into account when improving our quality and service. Be assured that we are continually working on our own modernization and looking for ways to ensure that you feel comfortable and at home here. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconveniences caused about the double bed (we hadd a problem with the laundry these days that made impossible to change your bed from twin to double). As you can imagine, we had the same problem with the bathrobe. Thank you in other way for your nice comments about our breakfast and restaurant staff. We hope to see you again in a next future. Best regards,

Hotel Valencia Center served as our base for 4 days/nights. Two of them we were exploring Valencia itself and other two rented a car exploring beach towns north and south.
Location is in a residential area somewhere in the middle - half way between the old town in one direction and Valencia's beaches in the other. In front of the hotel stops bus 19 which takes you to both, however if your party is 3 or more I suggest taking a taxi (bus ride is 1,50 Eur pp, taxi takes 6-7 Euros and is faster). Calatrava's City of Art and Sciences is very close, 5 min on foot. Many eateries, bars and restaurants in the area, as well Carrefour Express next block, 2 min away.
Room was little bit small for 3 of us, but beds were comfy. Despite being on the second floor street facing, isolation was good so didn't hear any noise.
Room is cleaned every day, but you must post a sign for that on your door.
Breakfast was tasty and generous with quality cold cuts, cheese, Spanish jamon and pies, eggs, many pastries, fruits, etc....
Rooftop pool is rather a bigger bathtub. Very small and shallow - 3 people in it is a crowd. Also, only 4-5 sunbeds with no umbrellas around the pool. I used it only early in the morning before breakfast with no one there.
This was our 3rd stay in Hoteles Center chain during our 2 weeks Spain tour.
Hotel Valencia Center is at the bottom of the list - below Seville's and far below Cordoba's same brand hotel, but came at the highest price per night of all 3.

The friendly helpful staff make this hotel special. Reception couldn't be more helpful.
Staff at breakfast work really hard to keep food topped up and tables clear whilst always having a smile on their face.
The room was clean and the air con was quiet, which is a positive at night.
The only criticism I have was getting in and out of the bath. There was only a shower in the bath and as I am in my late 60's, I felt very vulnerable as there was nothing to hold on to.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. It is close to the City of sciences and arts and at the same time there is a frequent bus route exactly outside of the hotel to the city center.
The staff was great, the room spacious and the breakfast very good.
It is all you need to spend a few pleasant days in the very nice city of Valencia.

Didn’t get off to a great start from the get go. Upon arrival we were informed that we either had a choice of a room that stunk of smoke from the previous occupants or a twin bed room with a tiny bathroom. We begrudgingly went for the smoke-smelling room although no apology or good will gift (perhaps a glass of wine?) came with it.

Pool area is very disappointing - tiny pool with about two loungers not even in the sun, and no bar.

Room service is non-existent until 11.30am so you can’t even wake up and order a coffee or tea. When we did eventually order a cup of tea, room service obviously misheard and delivered eight cups of tea to our amusement but the attendant did not see the funny side and instead was very rude and just blamed us.

The final straw was when the cleaning staff REMOVED my very sentimental blanket that I’ve had since I was born and it was never found. They claimed they didn’t take it and accused me of just losing it but I distinctly remember leaving it on my pillow in the morning only to return to the room that evening to find it missing. The two girls on reception were very unhelpful and rude, claiming it’s not their responsibility and advising I put it in the safe next time (a blanket that was wrapped up in my pyjamas? Ok). Again, no apologies or good will gesture offered. I told them as we guests we trust the cleaners in our room and with our belongings and it just felt like such a violation. They were almost laughing in my face about an item that was the last thing my granny made for me. The manager was at least a little understanding but his efforts were let down by his rude front desk staff.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay in this hotel during a short break to Valencia. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive the room was excellent value for money and the facilities were very good. The location was great easy to get to from our home in Southern Costa Blanca dual carriageway from start to finish. The hotel was a short walk (just 5 minutes) from the oceanarium and hemispheres. We also walked to the older part of the city (25 minutes) or just a sort bus/taxi drive. We had a great breakfast with excellent selection of food. Big thank you to Lara (on Reception) who was professional and super helpful making us feel like valued customers - we will definitely be coming back

We stayed here for a few nights so we could explore Valencia.

Although the hotel is away from the main tourist spots its very easy to get to them. There is a hop on hop off bus stop a 10 min walk away and the taxis are reasonable

The hotel itself was really good, but beware not everything is as stated. The rooms were clean with a huge bed and flat screen TVs. The rooms were cleaned everyday and you got fresh towels.

So the negatives. If you are driving and have a large car, then you will have issues with the car park. It's underground and very narrow. We had a small Fiat Punto and really struggled to the point my wife walked in front to watch the gaps. Our friends had the same problem.
We were told there was complimentary water in the room, there isn't, and they charge 2 euros a bottle on check out.
There is no coffee/tea facilities in the room, so maybe take a small kettle.

The pool is nothing like the pictures, it's tiny and hard to get into if you have mobility problems. If you want a drink or food you have to ring down the bar and it will be brought up.

I would go back despite the negatives but would be better prepared

No but you can use your room towel, ask for an extra one. A few (4 or 5) sun loungers. I'd describe the pool area and pool as more of a plunge pool / workout area with the gym. It's not a full blown pool complex. Fits 8 people having a refreshing dunk. Two strokes and you've covered it! Food and drink no. Balcony floor below has comfortable seating and service from the ground floor bar.
