We loved our stay at the Caro. The staff were all friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. The room was very comfortable and very interesting, with the original wall exposed and the bar-code link to a video explaining the history.

The only down side was the restaurant was closed due to refurbishment.. we weren’t made aware of this with the booking but the room service was excellent.
