Although comfortable, the bedrooms of this four star, excellently situated hotel, need renovation, repair and a general face-lift. The hotel would also benefit from a residents' lounge, which is disappointingly also the bar. However, these two points aside, the food, comfort, politeness and helpfulness of the staff cannot be faulted. Breakfasts are particularly comprehensive and the excellent attached restaurant serves...

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of november/beginning of December. We had an amazing time and from the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the middle of the city and a short walk north takes you to the Cathedral and lots of bars,...

Having read all of the reviews for central four star hotels which seemed to be hit and miss i decided to book this hotel because it was5 minutes from the main station and round the corner from the post office (correos). The reception staff were very attentive and friendly ,((which is unusual in spain ) We arrived early and were...

Having tried out a few hotels in Valencia on previous visits, we decided to stay this time at the Astoria having read so many good reviews of the hotel. However, while we agree that the location is pretty good, we were very disappointed by our room on the first floor which we thought was drab and ordinary to say the...

This excellent hotel is in the perfect situation just a short walk from the railway station, in the heart of the old town and yet in a very quiet side street. Reception staff were very friendly and the inclusive rate for the weekend made it a very good choice. The breakfast area at the top of the hotel was light and...

This hotel was fabulous. We got our room for a great price because they had a 50th anniversary special. The hotel is a little off the main street (so you're not stuck w/street noise), but close to shopping, sights, transportation, etc. They had a computer and printer set up for free internet use and printing. The staff were all very...

Front desk was helpful. You can walk to shopping, restaurants, and plazas. The room was nich and clean. Definitely stay in old town Valencia when you go. This hotel was good for travel. Fairly close to metro and train station. Valencia was such a nice place.

My sister, two cousins and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a lovely time. Very centrally placed for good restaurants, pleasant squares in which to sit, convenient for catching the tourist bus or metro, surrounded by designer shops (if you can afford them) and fairly quietly situated. Rooms were a bit dark. Beds comfortable but only one pillow...

3 of us stayed there for a night, while passing through Valencia and it was just fantastic. The lobby is ultra modern and the rooms are an older style, very charming and clean. We really liked this hotel. The restaurant looked nice, although we didn't get a chance to eat there, the location was great and there was one computer...

Excellent from check in to departure. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were a really good size and very clean. We booked room only so did not try the restaurant. Could not recommend this place highly enough.
