Sandos Benidorm Suites is widely appreciated for its hardworking staff and clean facilities, with most guests praising the hotel for its immaculate common areas and diligent cleaning staff. The location is also a hit; it's just a short stroll from beautiful beaches and lively pubs. However, opinions on the hotel's value and atmosphere vary, with some guests finding the entertainment and dining options lacking. While the rooms are spacious and offer pleasing views, reviewers have noted that they could benefit from refurbishment. Guests enjoy the variety of amenities, despite some minor drawbacks.

Hotel is very lively, good food and a great entertainment team who is lead by Ainhoa we have stayed at this hotel for over 25 years with Family and taken the Grandkids who are now grown adults and Ainhoa is the best rep they have ever had , she's great fun and gets people involved whilst leaving others to just sit back and watch her very funny girl.
Rooms are spacious ,all have sitting areas all and walk in showers and tea making facilities , and 2 full size single beds quilts are available for when visiting through the winter.
Food is plentiful and mostly English although repetitive same menu each week we never each lunch ,but think they could perhaps change the lunch menu for evening meals so as not to be the same ,
The Hotel is quite a walk from the sea and up a incline but its only about 5 euros for a taxi back
Towels are available from reception with a small refundable deposit .
Will see them all again later in the year

Dear maryost Thank you for sharing such a lovely review! It sounds like you’ve had a fantastic experience at Sandos Benidorm Suites over the years and I’m sure future guests will appreciate your insights. It’s great to hear that Ainhoa has made such a positive impact on your stays and it's clear the entertainment team is a big part of why you keep coming back. The spacious rooms, with their sitting areas and walk-in showers, seem perfect for both couples and families and I’m sure everyone enjoys the relaxed yet fun atmosphere. The hotel’s location, a bit of a walk from the sea but affordable taxi rides, seems like a nice balance between convenience and a quiet setting. Thank you again for your thoughtful review — hope your next visit is just as enjoyable! Kind regards Nicky Coupland Guest Services

We chose this hotel because our usual hotel was too pricey this year. I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our stay was fantastic; the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The hotel features a modern design and is very clean. The team works diligently to keep everything looking immaculate, with cleaners starting their shifts at 6 AM and continuing until the afternoon. The food and drink options were quite good; we didn’t eat out at all since the meals here were delicious. While the variety was limited, it was more than enough for us. The drink quality was decent. There are options to upgrade to premium drinks, But was fine with local spirits. My father has a disability, and the hotel provided secure parking and charging for his rented mobility scooter, making it a great choice for families with mobility challenges. The hotel’s location isn’t perfect, but it’s just a 10 minute walk to the strip.

This was our third visit to this hotel and our first time over New Year. We stayed for 7 nights.

Food:
There was plenty of choice and always something that appealed to us, and we are both fussy eaters. Breakfast was your standard bacon, hash browns, sausage, beans, eggs, pancakes, pastries, fruit etc. We’ve stayed in many hotels where the sausages weren’t great, but this hotel does a good breakfast sausage. They put on a special gala night on New Years Eve in the main restaurant, which had a great selection of meats to choose from, including steak.

Rooms:
The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. However, the room we were assigned (room 1006) does need some TLC. We were disappointed to see one of the lights hanging off the lounge wall, a chunk missing off the wall by the shower, and the sensor to unlock the door breaking. This is the only reason we would rate this stay 4 stars instead of 5.

Entertainment:
There were games throughout the day (e.g. darts, archery) and your typical night entertainment (singers, karaoke). As always a special mention to Ainhoa, who is hilarious! The entertainment on New Years Eve was brilliant and it was a cracking night!

Pool area:
The weather was hit and mess, as expected with it being Xmas/New Year. However, when the weather was good we always found a sunbed on the upper level. There were sunbeds by the pool on the lower level but these were in the shade due to the lower winter sun. You can hire a suntowel for €10 refundable deposit.

Bar:
Bar staff are great. They recognised us from previous visits which was a nice touch. Shout out to Jeni who was always friendly. Expect to wait in a queue during busy periods. It might be a better idea to do soft/fizzy drinks as self service to minimise the queues.

Location:
The hotel is in a good location. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and main strip. There are plenty of bars with tribute acts nearby. It is a 15-20 walk to the old town which was no problem for us.

Overall, we had another great stay and we are looking forward to return in March.

Really clean hotel about 15/20 mins walk into town.
We stayed as a family and had 2 Pool View rooms on the 19th floor.
We were on a All Inclusive basis, we didn't stay for long periods at hotel as we like to keep active. Our highlight was eating at the Indian Restaurant on site.
It was lovely to have Wine from a Wine Bottle and a Beer in a Pint Glass.
If you stay longer than 5 days you can book for this. I recommend you book ASAP as it's not open every day and availability is not always available.
The waiters were funny and attentive, we had a Serviette transformed into a statue which was fun.
Big shout out to the restaurant manager Denis, he was very good at his job and on his days off you noticed his absence because the line of people to get into restaurant was so long.
Only tried the food from pool side bar once, very disorganised, not clear how to order and lots of people stood waiting to get chefs attention.
The chef was a bit grumpy and shouted at myself and husband, because our Burger would take 10 mins longer than our Toasties. My son was surprised at how he shouted. I think the chef realised afterwards and explained why he shouted whilst slapping me on the arm as if it had been a misunderstanding.
The same chef appeared to have favourite customers and was quite happy slapping the naked backs of sweaty hot customers and then preparing food. It was a bit grim. We were made to feel a nuisance. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday the entertainment some nights was fantastic such as a Musician / Comedy Act and on our last night Music.
Other nights it wasn't as good.
Pool was clean and you can borrow towels for a 10 Euro Deposit each towel.
The hotel says that they don't let you reserve sunbeds longer than 30 minutes.
However this is not true, In a morning if you looked out at the poolside Loungers were full of laden towels and no people.
It appears that folk line up with piles and piles of towels and disappear for breakfast or go out.
The best time to guarantee a lounger is later on in the day nearer to 7pm when Pool closes.

Dear Amystef1 Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us at Sandos Benidorm Suites. We’re pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your holiday and found everything clean and well-located. It’s great to know that you appreciated the pool view rooms and made the most of our All-Inclusive package. We’re especially glad that dining at our Indian restaurant was a highlight of your stay. Your compliments about the service, especially Denis’s attentive management, are much appreciated, and we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him and the rest of the team. Regarding your experience at the poolside bar, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort you and your family felt. Our chef is usually well-loved by guests for his friendly and attentive service, so we're sorry to hear that your experience didn’t reflect this. We’re glad you enjoyed the entertainment, and we appreciate your understanding of the challenges with the sun loungers. We understand how frustrating it can be when loungers are reserved early in the morning and then left unused for long periods. While we do have a policy in place to prevent this, we realize it can be challenging to enforce at times and can only apologise for the inconvenience you may have been caused. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We hope to welcome you back in the future and provide you with an even more enjoyable stay. Kind regards and we alll look forward to seeing you again soon. Nicky Coupland Guest Services

Have just returned from a week at this hotel , transfer from the hotel took about 90 minutes but this was mainly due to the transfer coach getting caught up in the Fiesta in the old town
We had to wait an about an hour to access our room and had requested a lower ground floor prior to arrival . We got one on the first floor , room was spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with walk in shower, The TV had several channels but for some reason very few of the English channels did not work , but not a big deal . There is a payable safe
There is one pool and plenty of sunbeds and has a snack bar during the day serving all the usual suspects .. hot dogs , burgers, toasties etc.
Food in the main restaurant was fine for an A.I and mainly caters for the English tastes with Roasts on a Sunday and even steak pie one day. Selections are a bit limited but you can always find something to eat Staff in the restaurant are really efficient and pleasant.
We took advantage of one free night at the Indian and again staff were very good but quality of food for an Indian was poor
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel although a bit patchy by the pool .
In terms of location there isn't a bus stop nearby but you can walk to the Newtown/ beach in about 10 minutes or the Old town in about 20mins. A taxi will cost you 7- 10 Euro
There is evening entertainment every night , but not the best quality
I think what lets this hotel down are twofold. The walls in the room are extremely thin and you can literally hear everything and the restaurant is in the basement with no natural light whatsoever, it did feel like we were eating in a works canteen sometime
In summary we enjoyed our winter break and the Fiesta was a great experience but unlikely to return to Benidorm

Our transfer bus from the airport dropped us outside the Flamingo Resort and we had a short on the level walk to the Sandos Suites hotel.Easy smooth check in on arrival with clear advise how the lifts work having separate lifts for odd and even floors with 2 lifts for odd number floors and 2 for even which meant we never had to wait for a lift. Our room 2302 on 23rd floor was one of the nicest we've had with a comfy bed and settee a lovely walk in shower, fridge with a welcome litre of water kettle and cups. The view from the large balcony was amazing and had a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. The outside verandah was a real suntrap which we enjoyed every day with a bar on the next level down near the pools which also served tadty burgers hot dogs snd chips. The restaurant was large and efficiently run by Denis and his team we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals espicially the roast beef and yorkshire pudding. At breakfast there was cava on entry and a good choice of drinks and different fresh breads and all the usual full English breakfast including black pudding every meal had a good selection. As well as the restaurant each guest can have a meal at the Indian restaurant which we also enjoyed. Evening entertainment was usully a quiz followed by an entertainer which ranged from acrobats to various singers and one night this was followed by a karaoke. Our room and the whole hotel was spotless. There is also a gym with lots of equipment and a beauty salon who do nails at a very reasonable 23euros. The hotel is suitable for people in wheelchairs or mobility issues with either lifts or ramps. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definately return

Travelled here last week with family 6 adults and 3 kids (6,2 and 1). We were booked to stay in Rosamar when the holiday was booked but due to the building accident forcing it to close for the summer we were moved here.

On arrival we got checked in pretty quick but got a room on the 24th floor. We checked the room out it was 100% but my girlfriend is afraid of heights and have a 2 year old so we asked to be moved. They only had 1 room left which was on the 1st floor no views of the pool but we took it for safety reasons they were very helpful with the whole situation.

We were all inclusive for the holiday. The drink was brilliant and could get any amount with no questions asked. I am a vodka drinker and you got Smirnoff free when asking I found out 2 days into the holiday.

The food was alright. Breakfast and Lunch was fine but me and my girlfriend struggled at teatimes to feed us and our 2 year old. We ate out a few nights plus once in the free Indian you get a voucher for on arrival.

The dinner time isn't ideal either as it doesn't start till 7.30 to 9.45 which is not great for kids of any age I don't think.

Round the pool we got 6 sunbeds everyday no problem in the same place for the week. It doesn't open till 8.45/9am but 1 of the family was down from about 8am and queued till open.

All in all the location of this hotel is perfect just a straight walk 10 minute
walk down the road to the beach and away far enough from the strip you don't hear nothing after 12am when the entertainment of the hotel stops.

Would definitely stay here again.

Dear robingregson89, Thank you very much for writing and sharing your experience at Sandos Benidorm Suites. As you can explain in your comment, you changed your room on the 24th floor for a room on the first floor for fear of heights. In this floor, the rooms have views of the city and mountains. For the next time, we recommend you to leave an email or contact us to tell us your requests. There is no problem to change the room as long as we have availability and we will do our best to satisfy your requests. About the timetables of restaurant, we have a schedule adapted to all our guests because we have national and international pleople. In addition to the guests with all inclusive, they have snacks apart the restaurant. We will take note of your suggestions, we like to know the opinion of our guests and improve our services. Looking forward to seeing you again. Cordially, Guest Services

The hotel is perfect for us as it is 10 minutes walk from Levante beach and the livelier part of Benidorm, it means you can experience that part of Benidorm then return to the relative quiet of the Sandos Suites.
The food is excellent, a great variety with something different to try at each meal. We never got bored in our whole 3 week stay. The staff are helpful and efficient in the restaurant too, Dennis in particular always has a cheery welcome on entering.
The Indian restaurant is fairly good, the staff are amazing, the Indian food is fairly good but let down by the naan bread, pizza base is not naan bread i’m afraid. This could be easily fixed as i would have thought the hotel could source some real naan, we spoke to a decent amount of people who felt the same too.
The entertainment is fairly good with some great acts, i have to say some of them weren’t to our taste but then again you can’t please everybody all of the time. Ainhoa in particular is a fantastic asset to the hotel, she makes everyone feel like family the minute you meet her, the energy and effort she puts into everything is infectious, her sunny smile puts you at ease and you immediately feel like your going to have fun.
The staff in general are very good, the bar staff work incredibly hard while at times being spoken to rudely by customers which we witnessed many times (embarrassingly British i’m afraid), despite this they kept a smile on their faces for other more polite customers. Jeni, Henry and Israel were two i would mention by name as they were particularly good with us.
Our cleaning lady was outstanding too, sadly didn’t catch her name but she ensured our room was ship shape on a daily basis, we loved hearing her sing too 😊.
I can’t leave a review without mentioning Claire on reception, she is also a real asset to the hotel, she was always there to answer questions and give advice whenever we needed it. Even hints and tips on how to phrase things in Spanish when we weren’t sure, always a cheery “Good Morning” as we passed too, fantastic.
Overall we loved our stay, it’s our third visit in the last 12.5 months and i would recommend it to anyone who would ask.

Just back from a week at the Sandos Suites and thought I would give my review
1st of all this is a brilliant hotel and we would definitely go back again. We were on the 14th floor and every room is a large suite type with a separate double bedroom and sofa beds in the main room, it was cleaned daily with new towels etc when we wanted them. The staff were super friendly, very hard working, always smiling and happy to serve you no matter when you went.
The food was varied ,always a meat option and pizza/ pasta. A different meat every night cooked freshly by the chefs in front of you, the usual salads, fruits, cheese, bread and pastries etc, all very good quality. Breakfast was typically all inclusive style with full english or continental options.
Outdoor snack bar opened half way through our visit and the food cooked to order was very nice,(the kebab was gorgeous)
Drinks were good with cocktails and local spirits included, there were peanuts and crisps available as well. There is free water top up by the pool and bar for those that want it.
The Indian restaurant(included free of charge) is well worth a visit with lovely food and great service.

The pool area was adequate for the number of guests when we arrrived but as the week went on it got very busy and people were left without sunbeds, however there was a lot of space on the terrace which is used for entertainment in the summer. The entertainment was typical all-inclusive style, Pablo Bloom was definitely the best all week.
An easy 15 min walk to the beach, past the main strip and bars but plenty away from the strip as well.
The only thing we didn't like was the long queues at the bar and snack bar, this was down to a lack of staff and needs sorting, there never seemed to be enough people there to serve.
This isn't a hotel for teenagers, there was a games room with 2 PlayStation units with 1 football game and a pool table and that's it so our 14 year old got bored quickly.
In summary, a great hotel which we 100% recommend.

We stayed here from 25/07-03/08 after easyjet holidays moved us from the hotel we booked and I can honestly say it was one of the best European hotels I've ever stayed at!
Our pre req for a low floor room was actioned straight away and everything explained fully. On entry to the rooms they were emaculate and we had maid service every day. The hotel was spotless and cleaners could be seen every morning working tirelessly to get the pool ready for the day.
From the front desk to the bar to the chefs to the entertainment team nothing was too much they were always happy to help and always with a smile and a warm welcome.
They work so so hard and need to know we appreciate it all!
Standard towel situation in the morning. I used to get down there about 820 doors opened once cleaning was done always got beds no need to run about like a madman some still did though lol.
Pool is spacious and even with loads of people still room to move about in it and everyone is friendly and chatty all sharing floatys and things btwn kids.
Food was good and always a great choice, snack bar at the pool was perfect for kids burgers chicken nuggets wraps chips ice cream.
Although for kids of an evening it was limited if like mine all they eat is beige stuff 😆 my youngest is autisic and plain pasta is a staple it was there some nights but others had sauce or was different colours and she wouldn't eat it, I get they want to change it up but maybe just have that every night as our kiddos enjoy their safe plain foods only a suggestion just to offer a little more inclusivity and also means we don't need to bring our own then lol.
A special shout out to Maya on the bar and idoha in the entertainment team you are both lovely souls and work so hard alongside all your colleagues thank you 😊

It’s a large corner sofa but if you book for 3+ people they dress them as beds. Pretty comfy really.

Yes the pool bar will be open in May so you’ll can get snacks in there . The restaurant hours are 19:30 to 21:45 for evening meals. I believe all beds are the same . The kids pool is separate and just off to the side of the main pool
