The Flamingo Beach Resort receives high marks for its service, with most guests commending the friendly and diligent staff. While the rooms are often described as clean and spacious with impressive views, some visitors have encountered issues with odors and cleanliness. The resort's amenities, including varied dining options and clean pools, are generally well-liked, but opinions on the poolside service and entertainment are mixed.
The atmosphere is lively, but not everyone appreciates the loud music or the entertainment offered. In terms of value, reviews are split, with some guests feeling certain aspects do not justify the cost. The location is praised for its proximity to local attractions while maintaining a quiet environment.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel is 10-15 min walk from the beach 20-25 min walk to the old town situated at the top of the avenue de Europe. The room we stayed in on the 17th floor was a junior suite very comfortable and clean with walk in shower and hairdryer tv with English channels, the restaurant was very good with themed nights carvery and salad bar the waiters always friendly and eager to please. The bar staff were the same and prices reasonable the night time entertainment was very good the nights we stayed in to watch. The pool areas were very good with nice sunbeds and pools. The reception area very comfortable with friendly staff eager to help with a beaming smile

Having stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions previously, we had no hesitation in booking again. This time we booked direct using their website. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with my booking and as soon as I realised what I had done, I contacted the hotel. The hotel staff dealt with my problem immediately and amended my booking. Communication with the hotel staff was simple. The only advice I would give on communicating by email is to check your spam folder if you don't think you've had a response.
Reception had us checked in within minutes, providing us with all the information we need. Our room was ready, so we were able to leave our luggage in the room and go to the restaurant for a late lunch.
The hotel management should be very proud of the team they have built up, we never came across a member of staff who was not friendly and helpful.
The bar and entertainment area had been upgraded since our last visit and was much more comfortable.
Although the quality of meals in the restaurant has always been good, this time, the menu choices and the quality of the products used seemed even better. The hard working staff in the restaurant do a great job refreshing the food and the waiting staff ensure that tables a cleared quickly to ensure that nobody has to wait for a table.
The bar is well stocked and the friendly bar staff keep queueing to a minimum. Although the hotel is all inclusive, there are some premium drinks and some canned and bottled beers/ciders available for a supplementary payment. (A suggestion for the hotel: I think cans of John Smiths Bitter would be welcomed by some guests, including me).
We were in a suite on the top floor of the main hotel, the 21st floor. If you don't mind heights, the view from this floor is great. Rooms are large, comfortable and serviced daily, again by hard working, friendly staff.
Day time entertainment is available for those guests that want to take part in the activities and during our stay, live entertainment was provided on most nights by 'professional' entertainers.
I agree with a comment made by another guest whilst we were travelling to the 21st floor in the lift, "this is the best hotel I've stayed in in Benidorm". Well done Flamingo Beach.

Returned home yesterday after a 3 night stay here, and can't think of a single fault.
On arrival, we were immediately given our key card and advised of the snack times (best information we could have had as we were extremely hungry after all our travelling)
Left our luggage in the suite and headed for food. The snacks were great, eggs, bacon, burgers etc perfect!
Headed back to the suite and took a moment to rejoice at the full sized fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a huge amount of space (3 adults) The sofa bed was already made up for us too.
The beds/and sofa bed were comfortable and new, wrapped duvets were available in the wardrobe for if it was cool during the night.
Waking in the morning, we found there had been a leak in the bathroom, obviously this was not the fault of the staff, reported to reception at 7.10am and a technician arrived by 7.50am. Within minutes it was decided that it would take the morning to carry out repairs so we were immediately given a new room, they dealt with the issue effectively and very quickly, without fuss. Absolutely amazing!
All staff were friendly, smiling and approachable. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I stayed here for the new year and we only stayed in the hotel for breakfast. We was all inclusive but never ate in for lunch or dinner or the new year gala. The food was very average and luke warm there wasn’t hardly anything to eat for coeliacs who need gluten free foods. I did get gluten free bread a few mornings though when i asked for it. No food is labelled with the food allergens on it which is an absolute must for people like me. The bed was uncomfortable, but the rooms and all areas of the hotel were cleaned daily to a high standard which was the only plus side of things for me. The walls are paper thin and you can even hear your neighbours talking and at 2-3am which isn’t great. This hotel is adults only but that to us just means over 60’s to be honest ! We are in our 40’s and theres hardly anybody there our age. The entertainment is for 60+ i.e bingo old fashion singers from the 60’s so hence we went out into benidorm everynight cause we wasnt stopping in the hotel watching rubbish. I think the top & bottom of it is that we stayed across the road at benidorms suites which is 100% better because of the entertainment, food, beds, and rooms and balconies are all amazing. We will go back there next year even though its not adults only because we love the place. Another downfall in this flamingo beach resort (pensioners) hotel is that the heating is on so its red hot we turned all our radiators off but still the rooms were roasting we asked the receptionist how does the air con work she said it goes off in oct. The maintenance guy came to our room with a fan which was useless. It was so hot & sickly it was like living in a care home. I wont be going back there i will go across the road to the benidorm suites which is 100% better. I’m glad to be home in a comfy bed where i’m not sweating to death, where i can get a good nights sleep.

All comments are welcomed, both positive and negative, as this is a way for us to improve the service to all our guests. We understand that the food plays a very significant part in our guests holiday enjoyment and I feel it is a shame that this was not brought to our attention while you were here. We received many very good comments about our food, specially about Christmas and New Year´s Eve Galas. Thank you once again for the feedback, it always helps us improve. Kindest regards. Arrived at this hotel haven’t ever been before so was looking forward to trying it out as I’ve been to Benidorm many times, receptionist was a lady who was lovely told us we had a premium room, we had a junior suite booked so though oh this will be a nice wee upgrade so arrived into our room and was met with 2 tiny single beds not good buy room was beautiful, so went to reception asked the lady where the snack bar was and she told us so we proceeded to the snack bar as we’d missed lunch and to be met by a cleaner who literally started shouting at me I was like sorry I don’t understand and said the receptionist had told me I could use the snack bar she was so angry we left and went back to the receptionist and she apologised that it wasn’t opened for another 7 mins! Now I thought to myself jeez that cleaner was harsh for walking in a bit early! Waited the 7 minutes and look around and didn’t see much of a selection so thought well it’s only a snack bar and got some chips and a hamburger, the chips were freezing not lukewarm but very cold and my burger was pink I asked the chef could he cook it more for me and he ignored me, I thought after the 3rd time just give up so went back to the room, waited till dinner and was met with not a very good selection again so again tried a bit of doner meat again it was cold so we left and went down the town for food.
We decided we would leave the hotel altogether the next day as we couldn’t stay their so went to the reception and a man was only the desk I said I’d like to check out and he said oh you only arrived yesterday and I said I know I had a few problems he never once asked me what they were snatched my card key off me and said oh right!! Say to say I would never return! The hotel is beautiful and the sunbed area is fab but the food is a huge let down for a 4 star hotel. No refund or even an explanation did they want!!

Dear Kazzy, I am very sorry to hear of your personal disappointment regarding the food. We understand that the food plays a very significant part in our guests holiday enjoyment,it is a shame that you did not bring this to our attention during your stay. I´ve been checking with the staff your review and I have to clarify some points. The lady that was cleaning the restaurant, only asked you no to enter in. As you may undertand, our cleaners don´t speak English, but she never shouted you. At the moment you wanted to get into the restaurant, it was closed for cleaning time. So it´s not possible to get in. She only tried to explain it to you. Let me apologice if you felt it was not in the correct mode. When you made your check out, our recepcionist asked you why you wanted to leave earlier... so, In my personal opinion, it could have been the moment to explain what happend. You didn´t give us any explanation. Only you had problems, and want lo leave. I feel very sad because we dindn´t have the opportunity to rectify or give you any explanation here. We take all our comments seriously, whether they are positive or negative, in order to provide a better service to all our guests. Kindest regards. Eliana Álvarez - Hotel Manager

We arrived on 5/7. The suite was really good, exceptionally clean and spacious. It was a real bonus to have the comfy beds in a separate area and kitchen facilities as I was 'working from home'. The staff were unbelievably helpful about everything and even arranged for a half hour slot each day when the cleaner visited whilst I was out of the room on a break.
I found the food and drink very good. there were 2 main choices on the grill every lunch and evening - Chicken, turkey, salmon, fish, steak, burgers. there was also pasta or curry etc. and the pizza is the best we have had on holiday. Wine was decent and cocktails were good. Gordon's gin Bacardi Cava and port etc. part of AI.
The staff spoke perfect English. Reception were very helpful with directions, printing boarding passes etc. DJ Raquel is great and so helpful she has a walking tour into old town on Sunday ending in a local tapas bar where 1.4 euro gets you a drink and includes tapas.
We had such a great time we changed our flight and added another week booked direct with the hotel - which was cheaper and far better than Love Holidays - who left us without a transfer on arrival. We will be back! thank you to all the fantastic staff for an exceptional stay.

We really enjoyed our time in this hotel as a family of 4 with children over 18. There are only 6 rooms on each floor so while we were there, there was no noise from the other hotel rooms and we only met a couple from the same floor once. There was some noise from the streets, but I wasn't a problem apart from briefly once. The rooms are clean and really quite big, with a living room and balcony. I emailed the hotel prior to our holiday and we had rooms next to each other.
The sunbeds while not enough for everyone around the pool were fairly plentiful and you did not need to get up super early to get them.
The staff were all really helpful and pleasant. The meat at breakfast maybe was a bit tasteless, although there were other options, but the fish was always really nice at the other meals and I thought the food was generally very nice with lots of options. The drinks were good including the larger and I never found the drinks were put into warm from washing glasses.
The foam party was great fun, we didn't watch all of the entertainment, I would say it's good for a medium sized all inclusive, but not dazzling. I think being in an adult only hotel worked well for us and the mix of age ranges, UK and some Spanish was nice and resulted in a friendly atmosphere.
The location is maybe about 15 minutes from the beach slightly less to the strip. We found this was absolutely fine, although it was very hot while we were there so walking anywhere in the pm was a trial. We booked a taxi to the old town from the hotel and it was 7 euros and getting a taxi back seemed to be quite easy. The old town is a must see and one of the highlights of our holiday.
We would definitely return to this hotel.

Having stayed here 3 years ago we came back. The boutique hotel we really fancied was double the price so we thought we’d come back. Sadly very disappointed from start to finish.
On arrival we were told we had an upgrade. Off to the room we went….. small and the shower tray very grubby so we complained and they moved us back to the main building in the same room we stayed in before.
The room was clean but the bedsheets had rips in them, the shelf in the wardrobe was broken and fell in one corner. We opened up the sealed bag for the duvet that too was ripped and smelt so that went back into the wardrobe
The bathroom sink struggled to empty because of the dreadful plumbing …… has no one told the plumber water doesn’t run uphill??
The room had a kettle, my god dangerous, I burnt my hand pouring water into the cups because it leaked
Standard hand out was a postage stamp of a towel to try and dry yourself. If your not bothered about modesty then that’s ok but it didn’t cover both essential parts!
The piste de resistance was the group of lads that got pissed every night and disturbed us 3 nights on the trot. First night they shouted down the corridor, next night they had pulled so had a load of girls in the room and they proceeded to bang on the doors and walls for hours. Following night we had the 6am alarm call….. sonny was banging on the door to knock up his mate Ray but Ray wasn’t answering. Eventually he gave up and walked off.
As we didn’t come to sunbathe round the pool we were spared the loud and unruly behaviour that everyone else was subjected to. Many of the more senior guests complained too but nothing was done.
Wouldn’t recommend coming back the place needs a refurb and to be more choosy with its clientele
That said staff were great the hotel was clean food was mediocre but great but they catered for my dietary needs.
Great for a hen and stag do if you want to run riot in the hotel and get pissed on the free booze.

The hotel is not recommended for stag/hen or party groups, but sometimes we have have groups of friends that book separate, and the hotel does not know they travel toguether. We are unable to ban anyone with a confirmed reservation. They are informed at the check in about our rules. They can be noisy sometimes but all the staff and myself work hard to control them. We take for granted that all people that visit us have a normal beahaviour and have been educated at home. I´m happy to hear you found our staff friendly, the hotel clean, and that you were catered for your dietary needs. Kindest regards. Eliana Álvarez- Hotel Manager

+1
This hotel, whilst being to the east of the old town, benefits from a comparatively quiet surrounding area. A 15 minute walk down to the beach and the associated night life. It is a tall hotel in two similar buildings both facing the sea and with balconies. Three lifts in the main building. Balconies with chairs and table facing the south.
The food choice and quality excellent with a double fresh cook station each evening. Breakfast eggs and omelette can be cooked to order. Generous evening buffet with salads, cold meats, cakes, desserts ice cream etc.
Entertainment each evening was great.
Of course with other tall buildings about there are always areas by the pool in shadow except largish afternoon . The pool bar is well stocked and the service a delight. In fact all the staff are polite, well mannered and busy. Hygiene at the forefront and obvious.
Towels for beach and pool available on deposit and the room safe has, thankfully, a key not a keypad. Cannot speak for all rooms but we had a non functioning kitchenette area. There was fridge freezer, kettle etc as one might expect. However if you like mugs take your own because the cups are small and no teapot to make a brew in ( or take a couple of paper cups from the bar which works well). Air conditioning simple to use, effective and non intrusive.
I would not hesitate to return to this ADULT ONLY hotel.

From the moment we arrived to when we left we were always met with smiling friendly staff from reception, bar, restaurant and cleaners, nothing was too much trouble. Our room in the annex was so spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was fabulous. Christmas Day was lovely from the canapés and cocktails and fizz to the luscious dinner where there had been no expense spared with smiling staff there to help and advise you. The bar staff all work hard and the queues were soon dealt with even on Christmas Eve we never had to wait long. The selection of drinks are great I drink Bacardi and they serve the real thing! Raquel is brilliant I would recommend anyone to go on one of her trips to Altea or to the old town, she is a fountain of knowledge. All in all the best Christmas ever and will definitely return and highly recommend.
