Hotel's Favourite
Lovely, well equipped apartments with a fantastic view. Friendly owner and security, great communication. Apartments are clean and just right for 2: - small kitchen area, well equipped for snacks and basic cooking, includes microwave and filter coffee maker - bathroom looks newly refurbed, shower nice and hot and powerful if you put it on full - twin beds, comfortable and warm duvets included (cold nights in January) - lounge and dining area, plenty of room for other family members to pop in as we were part of a larger family group - balcony with table and 4 chairs with stunning views of the beach and coastline, lovely on an evening. Beach outside of apartment is beautiful and clean, with kids play areas up and down the beach. Convenient store and a pharmacy 2 mins round the back, or there’s a larger supermarket up the bank, maybe 10-15 mins walk. The cafés, bars and restaurants were friendly and reasonably priced if you want to stay local, or take a walk up the seafront and promenade into Benidorm for more choice. It takes about 30 mins if you don’t stop for a paddle or an ice-cream, or there is a bus every 10 mins or so that costs 1.5 euro to take you there. Would definitely return.

Beautiful apartments right on the beach, very quiet area, spotless, safe and secure, (you need a key to get through front gates) lovely man on the gate a lot of the time who was very pleasant. We had a studio 5E - just beautiful, gorgeous sea views and Peacock Island. The apt has everything you need really, towels were only changed once during our week stay - no cleaners at all. Little kitchen, microwave, hob, full fridge with ice box, all pots and pans etc. No air con but fan light worked very well. Welcome pack on arrival with tea, coffee etc and tea towels, washing up liquid, sponge etc was a nice touch. Plenty of hanging, storage space. Free safe! Pool area is pristine and very quiet, hardly anyone around really, lovely sun trap if you don't like the beach. There is building work nearby but it doesn't really affect your stay. Bus stop across the road 2€ to Old Benidorm or approx 20 min walk. Taxi to New Benidorm was around 11€. If you don't want Benidorm then walk up towards the Gran Bali (slight hill) you will come to a little area with bars etc, a few more minutes walk takes you to Finestrat, lovely, bustling little place, gorgeous cove. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. We would certainly return to Maria Christine Beach Apts.

Just back from a week at Maria Christina beach and were impressed at the views from our balcony of the beach and sea. The apartment was spotless and had a great private pool. The beach was just across from the hotel. Staff were great and bus service outside door. Plenty of good value restaurants. Highly recommend these apartments

We returned yesterday 28th June having stayed for fabulous 10 nights at the MC Beach Apartments. Maria was so helpful in sorting out my booking when I had initially booked via TA and the type of room was not clear, in fact she amended my booking twice with no complaints but with a friendly approach. All staff are friendly and helpful and the place is spotless at all times. The apartments are adequate but the kitchen area is very tiny which makes it difficult when preparing breakfast etc, but not impossible. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom is small but of a good spec and with plentiful supplies of hot water, the shower is powerful. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and enjoy watching the sea. Over the duration of our 10 night stay we had 3 sets of fresh towels, 2 lots of tea towels and a bed change on our 6th night. The tv has some english channels if you need them. The pool are is beautiful, as are the gardens and the groundsman work hard to keep it all spotless. A cooling dip is welcome in the heat and most enjoyable. There are lots of shady areas to be found under the trees or the large canopy. There is a laundry room for those that want it. The beach just across the road is to die for and there are lots of little bars etc in which to eat and drink. We had a takeaway from 'ginger nuts' on our last night which was ok. 'Lite Bite' also do takeaway. The best nearby shop was UDACO, and on our first night they took our shopping to the apartment in a trolley for us as it was too heavy to carry. Up the hill (towards the Gran hotel Bali) is a mercado which offers more. We caught the 102 outside UDACO to visit the La Marina central commercial shops and taxied back. To visit the old town area it is the 102 again but you catch it right opposite the hotel. We had enjoyable drinks and meals in the old town. It is lovely to sit and watch the world go by with a chilled white wine. We picked the area of la cala as levante and new town area is not for us as it is packed with brits and noisy. Thank you Maria for a lovely holiday it was just fabulous. I do have a couple of tiny recommendations to make it even better. 1) and information sheet to be provided when checking in to tell us where to find the communal toilet; bus details; how to check out before the office opens etc., 2) hooks in the shower, even stick on ones would be useful, from which to hang sponges etc., 3) if the tray provided was large enough to cover the sink it would provide a bigger working area to makes picnics and such. The one provided is few inches too small. Finally, we were lucky enough to be there for corpus christi and then the festival of St Juan. It was super fun watching the bands, the processions and hearing all the fireworks. We waited at St Juan church on the monday, especially to follow the procession, with the band and all the beautifully dressed spanish ladies and men. This was a lovely experience which I will cherish.
